"It would be so much easier if I had someone to just tell me what to do and who to be with and how to act and what love actually was."

It's Inter-Schools Sports Competition season and St. Paul Catholic School is hosting the event. Many students love seeing new faces, meeting new friends and potential lovers BUT not Jennie — she hates it!

There's something about colossal amount of people that makes her squirm and hide inside the classroom and turn her to asocial mode. It's the introvert in her that makes her allergic to socializing not people, okay? And this is how and why she missed out on a lot of things — specifically the "crush of the century".

BUT, did she really miss out?

"I got our new crush's phone number!!! OHMYGOD!!!" Giddy Shane squealed.

"How??? Can I have it too?" Eager Diana asked hopefully.

"NO. Not giving it to you." Greedy Shane flat out responded.

Diana eye-rolled, "Fine. Imma get it straight from crush tomorrow."

"Wait. What? How are you gonna do that?"

"We're playing against crush's team tomorrow. Guess I'll be talking and shaking crush's hand while you can only dream about it." Dianna bragged with a mocking smirk.

Jennie is mentally shaking her head while  silently judging hard her wanton friends — she just doesn't get this whole "crush" thing.

Like yeah she can appreciate and find someone attractive, hot, or sexy but she doesn't feel the excitement or the giddiness or the butterflies in the stomach or the tingling of the spine and funny bones or the weak in the knees or the can't-eat-and-can't-sleep-at-night-thinking-of-you BS.

And honestly, Jennie doesn't really care for Shane and Diana's new crush, but it got her curious because she heard this new crush is not from their school. Literally almost all students in their school are talking about this certain "crush of the century" but no one dares to mention this new crush's name. Like what is their deal?

"Who's your new crush?" Jennie asked feeling a little left out in the conversation.

"Don't tell Jennie or... steal... again." Shane whispered Diana but somewhat audible for her to hear parts of it.

Do they really think she is a "crush stealer" that they can't trust her around their crushes and even to know their names?

Obviously, Jennie was greatly offended!

Well, let me explain...

You see, Jennie is one of the few "campus crushes" and she doesn't even know why and how for she doesn't believe she's attractive enough to be called one.

Especially there are: her goddess bestfriend Jisoo who is the humble, kind, and consistent valedictorian; Bianca who is the campus muse with brains, Diana who is the sexy captain of their women's volleyball team and also with brains, and Shane who is, let's say, only popular because she's rich. Ok fine, she's the head cheerleader, beautiful with brains too.

In addition, Jennie also doesn't know why she's a member of the "Black Team" clique (because they wear black on Wednesdays) – they are St. Paul Catholic School's most popular clique and girl crushes.
