Death of a Soul Stealer

My own note:

The creature I made up is called a Soul Borrower, i always like the idea that people could live on, and that a part of them is left behind. That a soul is unique and perhaps someone could survive from it. I could tell you the specifics but it's easier to learn my ideas as the story advances. I hope to actually write this in 2 parts. Part 1 being Samuel and Luna's journal entries and that it swaps between the two. And the Part 2 is about the journal of a different character who will meet Luna. But don't want to revel too much. I wrote an list of people the vampires or 'Originals' are married to but i will explain who the Originals are later on but just for reference because it may be of a little bit of confusion but it is not vital for the story

Samuel’s Journal Introduction

She was always so beautifully perfect, traveling with her for 400 years and seeing her many forms after each transmission. I still loved her.

 She saved me. Brought me back. For a selfish reason I suspect, but the girl’s over 2000 years old (she sensitive about her age, won’t tell me how old she really is) she deserves to have someone to travel with. You see, I’m a ghost, and by blind luck she found me in the abyss of purgatory (well that’s what she says). This past year, our lives have changed, and I lost her, forever this time. And my memory is going so I’m writing it down. And whatever person reads it, I ask you….. no, I implore you. Find Luna Calloway, find her and fix the wrongdoings, and if you get the chance. Give her my letter. Please don’t read it, it’s for only her.

 Samuel’s journal #1

So, Part 1: A new dawn, a new place, and Luna’s new face.

Chapter 1

Luna had taken us to a forest somewhere in England. We had lived in a small hut for 2 months, she was weak and trying to gain strength and relax. The human soul she had occupied was losing its power but Luna can’t just throw it away. To her each soul is sacred and deserves to live it’s duration until the end. Then and can move on to “The New World” as she calls it.

 Maybe I should explain. Lunabelle (Luna for short) is a Soul Borrower. Basically, she eats souls as her diet but she can do a little bit more than the average borrower (that’s what I call them) she can actually take the souls of those not at rest, those killed before their time and let them experience her world. To somehow make up for the misfortune that took them. She’s pretty sweet like that but she’s also ruthless. She’s a few millennia old and all the fairy-tale creatures that run about are her creations or creations of her creations. We think she used to be human but she doesn’t tell me much, everything I’ve learned is through travel, the brief talk along the way, and the creatures she’s made.  Mostly the ones she regrets.
