"Nick, your house is fucking huge." I say entering, closing the door behind me "Thanks. But why you shocked, you been here before" He says "Yeah five months ago" I yawn "You know what, I'm kinda tired so I'm gonna go to sleep bye" I say waving at him before walking upstairs entering a bedroom with white covers and grey shades around the bed
Next day when I woke up I was so happy until I realized what day it was

"Sir? What happened?" I question standing up handing my baby sister to Bryson "We found a car and your mom was in it she must've gotten into a car crash and the windows broke and all the glass was on her and uh she didn't make it" the officer says

"Hi Jazmine! How was your day today?" My mother says running to me "Not good. I fell at recess." I say to her sitting in her lap "Don't be sad how about me you and your big brother Bryson go swimming" She says "But I don't know how to swim" I frown "I can teach you" She smiles. Her smile was so amazing and heartwarming.
Present
I was crying.
"Good morning-" Nick says "Why are you crying?" He says entering and I wipe my tears faster than thunder "I'm not crying. I'm fine." I lie "Look at me." He says coming onto the bed sitting next to me and I look at him "You can tell me what's bothering you okay?" He says and I nod "So let's see uh my mom died 4 years ago today and today is her four year anniversary death and she would be so sad if she knew I moved out" I say then Nick kisses me "We can't be friends." I say and his eyes start watering "Cause if we're just friends it would be hard for me to let go of the crush I have on you" I say and he smiles wiping his eyes picking me up spinning me "You're cute when you're sad" I say to him then walking downstairs opening my bag of lime hot chettos and eating it "it's 9:28 why are you eating hot chettos" he questions "munchies" i say "you were high?" he questions "noooo. the way i grieve is eating" i say then go upstairs to his room "No eating in my room" He says entering sitting next to me "I'm so sorry" I say pouting with baby eyes "SIS WHAT THE HELL?" Bryson says storming into Nicks room seeing Nick and I kiss "Shit! How the hell did you get in here" I jump back "Thankfully I got here on time or else I'd probably be an uncle in 9 months. Let's go!" He says pulling me by my ear and dragging me outside "What the hell Bryson?" I yell getting into his car slamming the door shut "Stop slamming my door!" He yells to me then I get out his car running away
11 hours later
"Sir where am I? Do you speak English?" I say running up to a light skin man who is on a bike "You're in LA" He says.
What the hell? Did I just run for eleven hours and end up in California?
"Thank you" I say to him then walk away
Two days later
"Yeah Mary I think I'm gonna go with this house I'm feeling it and i like how big it is." I say to her "Great your first months rent payment will be dropped off later today" she says then leaves
one week later
"shopping spree today" i smile waking up
at the mall
"my gosh sir i am sorry i am so clumsy today" i say to a man picking my head up handing him his things "I'm Jazmine." I say shaking his hand "Prince." He shakes my hand "Uh you're very pretty so could I take you to get some fro yo with me?" He questions "I love frozen yogurt" I say nodding
