"I can't believe this." Viviana says beside me. We made it to the hotel, the same hotel that the team is staying in. The team that I had been accepted by. Luca sent in a request the day of, and I surprisingly got in without an 'interview' like most jobs.

"Believe what?" I retrieve our room key from the receptionist. "That we're here. Away from home." I shrug my shoulders as this was never new to me. We strolled over towards the elevators with our luggage. As we stepped in after the doors opened, just as they were about to close again -- a hand stopped it. I looked up and connected eyes with familiar ones. Fabio. "Ciao." He politely greets the two of us, but it was more directed at me it seemed.

I didn't realize how long I had been staring until Viviana hit me on the arm. She gives me a knowing look. "Hello." I reply with not much enthusiasm as my expression held. He goes to press his floors button but retracts his hand. "Ah, seems we're on the same floor." He smiles. I nod. "You're with one of the teams?" He then asks, looking at me, forgetting that there was an 'audience member' with us. Viviana who was standing a bit closer to me, watching our interaction.

"Yeah I am." I say, short with my answer. But hit yet again by Viv. I turn my head to send her a glare. The doors opened to our floor. Fabio gestures for us to leave first, Viviana was quick to head out, leaving me and Fabio. He places his hands on the closing doors, and gives me his signature smile. I nod as a thank you and take my leave. "Arrivederci." He makes his way down the opposite hall and waves to us while looking straight at me. Viviana gives him a smile and waves whilst I give him another nod.

We walked down the other end and made it to our hotel room. As I unlocked the door, she was quick to speak up. "What was that?"
"What was what?" I play dumb. Locking the door behind us. "You know him?"

"He rides for one of the other teams." She nods, grinning. "He totally likes you." My eyes go wide at her sentence. "Oh God Viv. Please don't." I groan.
"What? He kept staring at you the entire time." I place my bags ontop of my bed. Claiming it as my own. "Did the two of you use to race eachother?"

"No." I sat down, exhausted from the flight. "Then how do you know eachother?" She pushes, claiming the other bed. "What makes you think we know eachother?" I furrow my eyebrows. "I don't know.. just seemed like it." I unbuckle my straps and lied down on my back, shutting my eyes for a brief moment. Wanting to get as much rest as I could -- even if it were for a few seconds. "Whats his name?" Viviana speaks up. I keep my eyes closed. "Viv." I groan.
"What? I just want to know."

"Fabio." It grows quiet again. Peacefully quiet up until there was a knock at the door. I open my eyes this time and let out a huff. Agitated that I couldn't get a quick nap in. Viviana was quick to get up, gesturing to me that she will get it.

She looks through the peephole, stopping for a couple of seconds. She looks back at me and jumps up and down. A grin plastered on her lips. She goes to open the door, revealing to me who was behind it. And it was none other than the Frenchman himself. "Hello." She greets. He gives her a soft smile before looking above her head and noticing me. I take one of my pillows and stuff it over my head.

Once I hear the door close, I take it off and notice Viviana walking over with my headphones. "He found these in the hall." She places them onto my bed. I give her a small thank you. A bit confused as to how he would of known that the headphones were mine and not someone else's. "You shouldn't be thanking me. You should be thanking him." She smiles.
