AN: Small- small mentions of voilence, nothing too graphic just Edith going crazy for a moment. Though down the line it may get worse so fair warnin for future chapters. Anyways enjoy!

It's been about a week since that day happened. I've been vigorously training with Soldier since then, the team has been understandably worried but we both reassure them that we're fine and Soldier lets them know he makes me rest when I need it. I was doing push-ups when Sniper came in, a plate of food in hand. "Sheila, oi got a plate for ya." He sat down on the bench, a worried look evident on his face. I stood up, dusting off my hands, sitting next to him. "Thanks mate." I gave a soft sigh as I ate, Sniper didn't leave though, he stayed next to me. "You know somethin's wrong, don't ya." Sniper nodded, "Yeah, and oi don't want to leave until oi know what it is." I gave a sigh, taking a bite of my food before putting the plate down. "I just don't want to make you, or anyone else worry about me. Or let what happened a week ago, happen again." I looked at my hands, they were more callused than before from the training. "Sheila... It's gonna be alright. Why don't ya hang with me this time during battle? We're going to a new place so it might be a good idea." I looked at him, a small smile was on his face. I sighed, "Alright, but if I get too antsy I'm gonna go out there and help." He raised his hands, "Oi wont stop ya." I nodded and smiled, "Good." I finished up, gathered my things and we headed out. Hopefully this battle will go better.
AN: Map Badlands
I set up shop with Sniper in a higher spot, nerves still high. He gave me a pat on the back before leaving, a silent exchange that he'll be back. I looked over the main point on the bridge, humming quietly and noting points where the Red team would come from. Sniper came back shortly after I heard 5 seconds, I readied my Rifle, still not entirely great with it but this round will be good practice. Once the sirens went off, me and Sniper both zoned into our own worlds. We silently knew who the other was going to shoot. If I missed a shot, he'd get them for me, vise versa so long as I held steady. About 20 minutes into the battle I got antsy, wanting to move around and Sniper noticed. "Why don't ya go down there for a bit. Take ya ax and SMG, have some fun." He never left his position, I thought for a moment and figured why not. "Yeah, I think I've got some energy to burn off." I gathered my weapons and he tipped his hat, "Stay safe." I smiled, "Of course." I quietly got down from his hideout so the enemy Spy wouldn't know where he's at and met up with Pyro. He tilted his head while I held my ax, "Stored up energy." Pyro made a family 'Ah' sound and motioned me to follow. We creeped around a corner and he pointed at a distracted enemy Medic and Heavy. Pyro told me he'd get Heavy while I got the Medic. "Sounds good to me." We both nodded and darted towards the duo that was preventing us from capturing the point.
I used the cargo train to my advantage and climbed up, gaining air time while Pyro successfully began distracting the two. I swung my ax straight into the enemy Medic, burning the man alive, sending him to the respawn room. I then hit the Heavy on his side, dealing extra burn damage to him and Pyro dealing the killing blow with his own ax. Pyro giggled and gave me a thumbs up and I nodded, "Damn that felt good..." I saw our scout head over to the main point so we went over to him to aid in capturing. "You two are a deadly duo. You know dat?" Scout commented while the two of us chuckled. "What can we say? We work well together." I shrugged, smiling. Scout gave us a playful eye roll before running off to the next point with the two of us hot on his tail. The rest of the team was already pushing, Sniper set up a new spot and gave me a thumbs up. "Looks like they got a sentry up there." Scout warned, I looked where he was looking and sure enough, a sentry and their Sniper not far behind it. I brought out my Rifle and stayed tucked in the corner, Soldier knew what I was up to and smirked. "Sniper, keep the enemy Sniper off us while we hit their sentry!" "Got it!" I took the first shot at the sentry, quickly reloading and hitting the Engineer. "Now Soldier!" He quickly fired three rockets while Demo fired off his stickys, effectively demolishing the sentry. "Forward!" Soldier shouted which prompted Heavy and Medic to run up. I put away my rifle and grabbed my ax again, running with Pyro and tag teaming some kills. The enemy Sniper shot Pyro, I froze and stared him down making the Sniper lower his gun. "Awh mate, you've done it now." I gripped the ax tightly and quickly charged the Sniper before any of my teammates could get him. I pinned him to the wall, ax to the throat as he yelped. "Next time mate, aim for my head." Bone crunching was heard as I sliced his neck. "Hunter! Help us push!" I looked down to see Soldier and Demo pushing through the Red team to get their next point. I smiled and ran around, dodging bullets and bombs. Setting up a lined shot with their Medic, I took out my Huntsman and letting the arrow rip through his head. "Nice shot!" I gave a thumbs up to Demo as he and Soldier ran forward.
