Third person POV
America sorted the keys in his hand as he glanced up and down the hallway. He had arrived in Hawaii and Russia, which, as the UN said, was supposed to stay with him for bonding. Russia had gone with his siblings to help carry bags. America opened the door to his room. This was the best hotel Hawaii had on the island, and he had a patio room on the top of it. He walked in as the sunset over the horizon. An American flag hung next to the door, and it was filled with family photos because, during WW2, America spent a good bit of time here after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. America turned on the lights to the giant space as he sat down his stuff on the bed in the main bedroom. Then he walked over to the sofa and turned on the TV. He wasn't searching for anything in particular. He ended up watching a Rom-Com about a woman named Jane and her love interest, Jay. Luckily for him, it was only a few minutes in, so the country settled on the sofa after turning off the lights.
Russia walked down the hallway using the map he had gotten from the hotel lobby. This place was way too big for the Russian's liking. Russia glanced at the room numbers. He was on the right floor, but this hallway seemed an eternity. He regretted letting America go and wished he had gone with the striped country. Russia thought about the American when he fell asleep on his shoulder during the flight. The American soft blonde curls laid over his sunglasses, and his small frame clung to Russia's arm. The country had implanted that image in his brain. Russia's cheeks were dusted with a light blush. The Russian man made his way down the hallway, his thoughts confusing even himself. As he reached the door, he took the key America gave him and opened it.
516 - Private Patio
Russia opened the door to reveal a beautifully themed room. It provided a tropical aura while still retaining its luxury. It smelled of palm oil and coconut, which Russia was unfamiliar with. He says America lay back on the couch, wanting something on TV. The American heard the door open and close as he turned his head over to an imposing figure standing in the doorway with a shadow overcasting his face. The accent of the figure lets America know who it is.
"This was hard to find," Russia said, glancing at the doors that lined the hallway near the exit. America pointed to the guest room before remarking.
"Your rooms over there." The Russian man nodded before walking over to the door and unlocking it.
America leaned back on the couch. He didn't remember much about the plane ride because he was asleep, but he remembered Russian siblings telling him how cute he looked. Ukraine was the most adamant about the comments, and Belarus was a close second. He asked Canada, who remarked that he had no idea. Maybe he could hack the security cameras of the plane. It would only be illegal if he were caught, right? America's thoughts seemed to lull him to a peace-filled rest.
Russia walked out of the room. He wanted to ask where the bathroom was, but he noticed the peaceful sleeping face of America that seemed to be cuter since the last time. The light from the TV reflects on his glasses. Russia knew leaving him to sleep in the living room would be rude. Yet it would be awkward if he carried him to bed. His legs moved before his brain could think as he lifted America into his arms, holding the male's small frame against his chest and carrying him to what he could only assume was the main bedroom. He sat down the American in the bed and took off his sunglasses, setting them on the nightstand beside the bad. Russia glanced around the room before softly leaving, closing the door.
He turned off the TV and lay in his bed. His thoughts filled with the small male he held in his arms today. What was wrong with him? He was willing to forgive the American, not fall for him. Yet somehow, his heart still beat faster around him. What was this feeling? His eyes widened when the realization hit him.

Another question from me, but!
Would you like to see a Vacation/Story-themed playlist on YouTube and/or Spotify?
