Hi! I have written stories before but have never published it out for the world to see so wish me luck! I hope anyone reading this likes it and votes to get another chapter!

I woke up with a jolt. The alarm clock next to me flashing its big red numbers at me screaming for me to wake up. I practically flew out of bed. I ran over to my dresser, picked out a thin light grey shirt that was partially see through and some high-rise bell bottom jeans. I slipped on my K-Swiss shoes and hurried down the hall to my bathroom before brushing my hair and my teeth put on some mascara and grabbed my bag and then realized I had forgotten to pack the night before as usual. Then I grabbed my watch and rushed out. I ran the block to the bus stop and glanced at my watch to see I was right on time. But I looked around and noticed that my usual friends weren't sitting on the little purple bench that we had claimed all year. I looked back down at my watch, and read " 6:58 AM, April 28, 2024, Saturday." Oh no "Ugh" I groaned and started the long walk back to my lovely sheets.
Once I made it back to my house, I changed into a soft long sleeve shirt that had "JUSTICE" written on the front. one sleeve was blue while the other was green. I also threw on the shorts that went with it, half blue half green. I knew I would probably get yelled at for sketching like I wanted, so I threw some hashbrown patties in the toaster oven and some bacon in a pan of some oil. I sat back and sketched occasionally flipping and checking the bacon and hashbrowns, before turning the heat off and carefully pulling out the hashbrowns. The bacon sat on a paper towel drying and cooling down and the hashbrown were dished out onto plates on the other counter.
I decided then to sketch my kitchen, the light wood cabinets of different sizes on both sides with the dark marbled counters, the light grey tiled floor that was the go-to spot in the summer. The black oven in the middle on the east side with the microwave above it, and even more cabinets up top. On the west side the sink was in the middle with the dishwasher to the right of it. Then you had my personal favorite spot, the bay window. The widow was decent sized and had the slight angles, with a nice coffee bar in front with the regular coffee machine then, the best one, our latte miracle, it's fancy syrups and specialty coffee. We had gotten it the last black Friday and it worked wonders for my mornings. I loved it more than my sister if that said anything about it.
When my family decided to join the party there was the loudest commotion, you would think it was a couple herds of elephants in an earthquake. I grabbed my food and quietly sat in a chair in the corner and munched on the bacon that was crispy, just how I liked it. I then texted my friends to see if they wanted to play and remembered that it was only 7:45 and that those lazy bums never woke up on time for anything, including Christmas or their own birthdays. So, I played alone and waited for one of those weirdos to message me.
"Goldfish: Gm" went across the screen of my fitbit. That's what we called Len, his last name was Gold and his hair was as close to gold as you could get.

According to Len we were twins, which we are very similar but related whatsoever. But if you look at discord, He's my daughter, my twin, my stepbrother, and my stepfather. We can't have a family tree made for that. I love him though, he's like a brother to me, a very, very tall brother. You also kind of have to see that we are in the same grade, but he is probably around 5' 5 maybe, and I am 4' 10 + 3/4. Not to mention I'm way too light for my age, so I can just get carried around if I don't feel like walking that day.
Goldy was a good friend to me but, he was a serious player. He was more chill until we entered 7th grade then he became a big player, he had a new girlfriend one or two days after breaking up with last one unless he was aiming for someone in particular. Then he was with that girl all day everyday seven days a week. But he was a good judge of character and good friend once he realized you weren't interested. It took him awhile to stop bugging me and hitting on me but eventually we became just friends. He had been the one to cause me and my ex's breakup but now I see not only was he jealous but that he saved me from my ex. Jay, my ex, was still my friend but now I didn't have to worry about his feelings, so I was spared that merry go round. My two best friends also helped save me. Ali and Skylin. Those too girls are my life. There is another girl that kind of helped me I suppose but she didn't do it to help me. Her name is Nia she doesn't really seem like she likes me, but she isn't rude to me and she's on the basketball team with me.
