Prompt 4: Garrett x Adam

Garrett stood in Adam's bedroom. His arms folded and looking at his lover sitting on the ground. Adam had a small handgun pointed at his chest. He was not trying to show that deep down inside, he was frightened.

"Garrett, please leave me alone." Adam said.

"Adam, this is not going to solve anything." Garrett replied.

"Yes, it does. One sliver bullet to the heart and then..you can have a better life and no one will ever be able to make feel like garbage ever again." Adam said. Garrett and Adam have actually an amazing relationship but it's Adam's depression and fears that gets to him.Garrett knew Adam had issues but he did not know they were this serious.

"That is not true, Adam." Garrett said.

"Do not try to talk me out of this! All I ever do is ruin lives and fuck up shit. I want to be able to be happy and try to live my life the way I want to and without people trying to tear me down!" Adam said. Garrett tried to walk closer but Adam pushed the gun closer to his chest. Garrett had to try to talk Adam out of this and quickly.

"Adam,there are always going to be assholes, no matter where you are. You are not the only one who goes through this. Many people do. Plus, we are vampires. There is no such thing as normal with us nor with any race. Vampire or human, normal will never happen. Adam, I love you and if you do this....I will never be able to be happy. You are my moon and stars. Please, Adam...please do not do this." Garrett said, starting to tear up. He looked at Adam, who was tearing up as well. Adam moved the gun away from his chest and put it down gently.Garrett walked over to Adam and bent down on to the ground. Adam put his around Garrett and began to cry.

"You are right. Death is not and will not going to solve anything but cause more harm than good. You are my other half. I love you, too,Garrett. I am so, so sorry!" Adam said, sniffling a few times as he talked. Garrett held him closer and kissed the top of his forehead.

"It's okay and every thing is going to alright. I'll protect and be by your side, Adam. For the rest of my life." Garrett told him. Adam looked up and his lover, showing his teeth as he smiled. Garrett smiled back the same way. Adam and Garrett slowly their head towards each other and kissed. Garrett suddenly stopped and got up. He stood in front of Adam and helped him, only to lift him up and carry him to the living area.

As Garrett sat Adam on the couch, he looked at his boyfriend.

"Adam?" Garrett said.

"Yes?" Adam replied.

"If you ever feel this way again, please, no matter what, come talk tome. " Garrett told him. Adam smiled.

"I will, dear. Thank you." Adam said. Garrett nodded and kissed his lover's forehead.

"Want a popsicle?" Garrett said. Adam's face lit up and nodded.

"Be right back then." Garrett said. A minute later, Garrett appeared out of the kitchen with a popsicle in each hand.

"Here you, go, my love." Garrett said, handing Adam his popsicle.

"Thank you." Adam said. Garrett sat on the couch next to Adam and Adam cuddled up next to him and they ate their popiscles, in bliss.
