A soft whine came from you as you started to rouse from your slumber, your scent growing stronger as Eclipse rushed through the island, desperately trying to get somewhere safe before your scent overwhelmed him. If it wasn't for the shock he felt from reuniting with his brothers and the fight he had woken up from he would have given in long ago and just taken you down there in those darkened, metal halls but he was glad he didn't. After he woke up, he had felt so empty and confused as he had a sudden black hole in his memory and he didn't know where he was for a moment until he found that book next to him and connected the dots. Though he didn't know why he was there, it had been important and he had given up traumatic memories whilst doing it, but that scared him. The hole had felt so big like there was nothing in him now that his memories were gone and feared for a moment that he had lost too much of himself when he gave up his traumatic memories...But then he remembered you.

He remembered your warmth, your smile, your care, and your joy...That you were his beloved mate. He remembered how much you meant to him and how you had brightened his life as those memories shone with such love and positivity that he could barely focus on them before he felt as though he would burst into tears. Thanks to those memories he found that, even though he had lost years of his life when he lost his memories, he still had something to fight for, something to make up for the emptiness he now felt inside. That's why, when he saw Sun kiss you like that he grew so very angry and concerned for your wellbeing as, in the light of emptiness inside him a possessiveness unlike anything he had ever known was born. This possessiveness was only for you, to keep you safe from any and all harm that may be brought upon you for you were his Heart, the last thing he thought he still had to connect him to who he once was. He couldn't lose you...No matter the cost he would keep you close and keep that emptiness at bay.

It had taken so little for him to knock Sun off of you and pin him down on the ground...It would have been even easier to kill him and if Moon hadn't tackled him away from you, he would have ended up killing Sun...One of his baby brothers...Eclipse quickly shook his head, banning that thought from his head. Yes, that could have happened, but it didn't! Thankfully Moon had recognized him and helped him remember their faces, so they were both fine outside of a few scratches! He was sad that his parents' faces were still quite blurry, they were a lot clearer now than they had been before! So maybe losing those memories was making more room for all of his good memories? Maybe, once he reconvened with his brothers, you could all start making new good memories together to make up for all of the empty space he now held? He hoped so-

"E-Eclipse?" You whispered, snapping him out of his thoughts as you whimpered and started to shudder in his arms, a strong wave of your scent coming over him as you did so. Oh no, you weren't supposed to have woken up yet!

"Yes Heart, I'm here." He said softly, trying to keep his voice calm and level as he felt a wave of heat crash through him. He needed to hurry, otherwise he wouldn't be able to stop himself and your first heat would be ruined!

"W-what h-h-happened? Where a-a-are we?" You stuttered out before whining and hugging yourself tightly as another wave of your scent came from you, causing him to stumble slightly, but he quickly righted himself and continued onward.

"We're on our way to our nest. Just wait a little longer, okay Heart?" He asked as he quickly wiped his mouth, having felt drool escape from his mouth when he stumbled, causing you to open your eyes and give him a confused and slightly frightened look as your heart beat somewhat erratically.

"N-nest? W-what nest?" You asked with a shudder as a few tears slipped from your eyes before you clenched them closed once more with a groan as you started to pant lightly. "E-Eclipse, w-what's happening? Why is it so h-h-hot?"
