Lord heal my Broken Heart

My cry to you lord, my prayer, my love letter, the sound of my breaking heart

breaking my own heart
it's so easily to do because I'm the one in charge. oh to break again, having to pick up my own pieces again. By the grace of God I'm able to repair as he mends this broken heart.

This broken heart that loves so hard. Even to the ones who don't recognize the love I want to give. oh how I love you in my heart. I don't blame the ones who love you. the ones who want to love you.

What's not to love about this Godly man.
He leads with his faith. Keeps his mind and heart on God. He doesn't lead with emotions.
A Godly man who is intelligent and kind hearted, such a gentleman.
The definition of chivalry.
Indeed He is a Godly man.
No doubt in my mind.
He is a husband.
Not a fling.
Not a situationship.
Not a boy.

Although I always felt it, I felt that I wasn't the one.
I still never gave up hope.
The hope of what if..
What if we?
What if he?
What if?

it was all in my head
a daydream
a dream
just a dream.

its not real. and I don't exist in your head like you do in mine.

because in my mind
I wonder
I wonder what it sounds like to hear your voice speak about God
what's your thought on love
what's your favorite worship song
At what age did you recognize you wanted to live for God
How did you deal with heart break
Wonder what it's like for you to give advice
wonder what your favorite scent is
what your favorite food is
what makes you smile
what gives you joy
what does it sound like when you play the piano as I sit and listen
how do your hugs feel?
how does your cologne smell
what is it like to touch finger tips as I look into your eyes

what is it like to have your innocent love

oh the things I wish I could tell you

the way you present yourself with courage with content with happiness
the way you worship makes you even more enchanting
the way your passionate and on fire for God is so attractive
one day you will become a minister, a pastor, a bishop
i want to be the one cheering you on in each step you take
growing together within the presence of God
you pushing, pulling, guiding, and showing how to depend on our faith

I wonder if you knew how beautiful your eyes look
I wonder if you knew your laugh is so contagious
so contagious I can't help to smile so hard my cheeks start to hurt
your hair so brown like sweet chocolate
the way you care to greet everyone is so heartwarming
the independence you show is so handsome
the way you care is so precious
the way you love your mom is unbelievably adorable

oh to hear those words

from your voice
it would sound like a never ending interlude to my ears
how romantic

a romance I pray to experience
my God written fairytale

I pray this is apart of the long game
the long game
so maybe at the end you'd see
see that I've always loved you.

it's always been you.

So lord I pray
I pray you take care of this Godly man
I pray for his wife
I pray for his life
I pray that you hold him in your hands
I pray your the blood that runs through his veins
I pray he knows he's loved
I pray for his peace
I pray for his love
I pray for his sleep
I pray for his mind
I pray for his faith
I pray for his health
I pray you take this undying love from me because I can't take this anymore
I pray he marries for love
I pray for his family
I pray for his next generations

Lord I thank you
I thank you for everything
I know there's so many words I can say
but at this time it's so hard to pick out the details
I'm struggling I need you to take this sadness
This time consuming, gut wrenching hurt
teach me to be patient
teach me to love even when I'm hurting
teach me to be humble
teach me to love wholeheartedly
teach me how to express your love with your words
teach me how to understand you
