Rin fidgeted nervously in his seat as he waited outside the emergency room with his caretakers. The operation has been on-going forever and every tick of the clock feels as if time is slowing down his brother's way towards the death door.

...8 hours and 25 minutes...

"They are taking too long-I wanna know if Fin is doing okay..." he worries as he looked down at his beaded bracelet. His younger brother made it for him to let the other caretakers know that Rin is the oldest. Rin has been saving money for years after his recovery from the accident. It was technically for both him and his twin on moving out to either the adoption center or their relatives once the youngest recovers , however, things took a dangerous turn. Now he could only pray that it would be enough since he doesn't plan on waiting for his twin's death, nor know anything about the amount he needs to pay once this is all over.

"Don't worry. My appa is the best surgeon around and he is very gentle and serious with his patients. If we rush the surgery, it might make things harder for Fin..." the daughter of the owner comforted, but it wasn't enough. They woke Rin up in his past bedtime to announce about Fin's operation. Since it concerns his brother, he didn't opposed and take them both to a private hospital.

And now, he hasn't sleep every since it started. He wanted to be the first one to know the news.

"But heart surgeries with ASD usually lasts for 5-6 hours and I-I'm scared that his heart couldn't hold it much l-longer..." Rin is trying his best to stay brave and hopeful, but watching different nurses go in and out of the emergency room with different machines and tools is freaking him out.

"Well you have to trust your twin, Rin. Fin is a tough cookie. It's quite amazing that he survives this long with an unpatched hole in his heart... You are his motivation~" the second guardian, who seems to be the owner's daughter's lover, joined in while ruffling his hair. "Just give it a few more minutes..." he added with a sig when the kid didn't look convinced.

Rin didn't say anything and can only look down, hopeless. He really wanted to believe his twin. He loves Fin. Watching him die in there is the last thing he wants to see. He gave in for another 30 minutes before the owner came out with a relieve expression. Rin didn't think twice to approach him and jump out of his seat.

"Seonsaeng-nim! Seonsaeng-nim!"

"My my, someone is excited~"

"H-How is my brother-P-Please tell me he's okay!"

"Well you have to answer my questions first. Are you Rin?" The doctor asked.

"N-Ne..." He smiled at the black hair boy while crouching down on his level to clasped his hand together with his..

"Well Rin, I got good news, great news and wonderful news to share with you today~ The good news is that your little brother's surgery is a success. The hole has been sealed. Though we encountered a bit of complexity during the middle of patching when his oxygenated blood starts running low again, he is lucky that there's some extra blood packs to cover the leaking..." he later answered the young boy's previous question and was a little amazed by how he took longer than he expected. Rin was a little confused with the explanation.

Extra packs? But... we already ran out...

"And as long as you guide him into being careful around his eating habits and physical activities, that little marble in his heart might close on its own for good! That's great news, isn't it?" Rin never felt more relieve, but there's still more. He's okay... Now he has to face the hospital bills. He isn't sure if his savings, or the borrowed funds his oppa and noona lend to him would be enough.
