Y/n's POV

God this was stupid. Enid and Rosita had convinced me to go to the stupid party down the street. All the kids were going and my dad, Daryl, told me I couldn't go. He said it was dangerous. We couldn't let our guard down because we don't know what the people in Alexandria are capable of.

So here I was, sneaking out of my kitchen window, in a tight black dress that Rosita lent me and my black converse. I was meeting Carl, who happened to live two doors down, so we could walk together. He said it was so we were "safer together" but I don't really see the point. I've known him since Hershel's farm. We became friends and had stayed very close since. If I was being completely honest I have a little small tiny weeny crush on him...

Okay, maybe a MASSIVE crush on him. I had since we escaped the prison together.

I had half of my body out of the window now. My other leg was still on top of the kitchen side. I pushed myself forwards and jumped off the window ledge.

I could see Carl a few meters away, he hadn't seen me yet. He was stood with his back to me. Holy shit he looked cute. I just wish he looked at me the way I looked at him.

He spun round slightly and saw me from the corner of his eye. He began to walk towards me and I picked up the pace to reach him quicker.

Once we met in the middle he stopped and looked me up and down before pulling in and giving me a hug. We always did this, Glenn always told me we looked like a couple. But I think it was just our way of greeting one another.

Carls POV

I turned to the side and saw her, her h/l h/c hair hung down, she straightened it and I could tell. God her body, she had grown up so much since we were at the farm. The tight dress she wore, very different to the baggy clothes she normally has on, hugged her curves tightly and made her look perfect. I couldn't help but check her out a bit. If only she felt like I did.

Nobody's POV

"C'mon, let's go, or we will be late," you spoke, slightly pulling away from the hug. As you approached the house, you could both see the people stood inside. The kids and a few younger adult were there. Once you were in front of their the door, Carl reached up and knocked on it.

"Hey, Come in!" Enid stood at the door, an emerald green dress hung down her body and stopped mid-thigh. Her hair was down just like it always was.

You and Carl stepped inside and he spotted Ron and Mikey.
"I'm gonna go talk to them, it looks like Enid wants you over there anyways" he says and tilts his head towards the direction of her, Enid did look like she wanted you over there, she was looking at you with a look that was almost calling you over.
"See you in a bit." You said as you walked over to Enid. And that was the last time you saw him last night. You knew he wasn't a heavy drinker but you certainly were. After being them for about an hour you were already drunker than most people there. Enid was sat with you and and a group of girls while you played truth or dare. Carl watched you slur your words and start to look dizzy as you glanced back at him every freaking minutes, just to check if he was still there. He knew he couldn't convince you to go home, you were to stubborn.

You don't remember seeing him leave but you knew it was way before you. You knew this would happen though, he wasn't a heavy drinker and parties weren't really his strong point.

As everyone started to clear off one by one, Rosita approached you and and told you to head home, she hadn't drunk much either and she knew that you should be going home before your dad got too worried. She knew you had snuck out and told you to go before he realised.

You exited the house and began walking home. Once you reached your kitchen window, you lifted your leg just high enough to reach it and pulled yourself through. When you got inside you didn't even realise that the kitchen was completely different to your own. The alcohol had fully taken over and all you wanted to do was flop down on the sofa and sleep. You stumbled a bit as you walked over to the couch and laid down on your back, you didn't even bother to change out of your party clothes, you just drifted off to sleep.
