Artemis' POV
—————
I watch as our guardian, easily defeats a Titan. Which is supposed to be killed by a demigod and god working together. He then comes back mumbles something about not being a guardian. And collapses like a heap of lead. Several hunters, who actually have come to like No One, run over to check on him.

No one reminds me of someone, the only boy to ever gain my respect, Percy Jackson, Hero of Olympus. Twice, and yet we threw him out on a whim without letting him have a chance to defend himself. When No One first spoke to me he was polite and collected, but when he spoke to me before he fainted there was a subtle undertone of wanting, and anger. I shake my head, I do trust No One but I don't want to tell anyone. They'll pass out from shock at me trusting another male. I head back to the battle, grab Hyperion's sword, and bring it back to the tent No one is sleeping in.

I have one chance to see his face, I'll give it back to him when he wakes up. I set the sword down by his bed and reach for the mask. His body twitches when I grab it, it comes right off. What I see floors me.

I see a young man with light gray hair; he has burn marks on his left cheek, and it looks like he hasn't eaten in weeks. His cheeks are sunken in and his face is pale. I've never once seen him eat, he just sets up food for us to eat and walks away to sleep in a tree. Why, why doesn't he eat any food?

He has a marking on his neck, it looks like a start to a word, I feel horrible removing his clothes but I'm too curious, I take off the dirty cloak, his jacket and undershirt. He has well defined muscles everywhere, and everywhere there are scars, some haven't fully healed yet either. And he goes and runs around fighting in this state? What crazy man is this. Oh yea this man is similar to Percy, so obviously crazy.

I flip over the unconscious guardian to his back, I see a small... oh my hades, that's iron melted into his skin at the small of his back. It's in the shape of a trident, and trailing up and down his back are words engraved into his skin, with a knife. Reading a few I see slurs, the words traitor, monster, cheater, scammer, ugly and others. The poor man, on certain parts of his back, literal chunks of skin have been carved out of his body.

Where did these scars come from?

And worst of all, who wrote them?

No One's POV
Unknown time has passed
—————
I thought I felt something touching me, but when I woke up the tent was empty. I walk outside to look around, I saw a few hunters chatting, the stop to look at me. But don't go directly back to the conversation, I head off to find Artemis. She's still talking with Thalia. Thalia stops to look at me. Artemis grabs something from her pocket and reaches to give it back to me. And it's my...

Mask.

The mask that shields everyone from my hideous face.

Why would she have it? Did she take it? To punish me? For what? That's what the girls at the campfire were looking at, my face. And Thalia.

No food for two weeks. That's what you get for trusting others. For trusting anyone but Hestia, they all gave you a reason to not trust them. She protects you and you serve her.

I grab the mask and dart from camp, away from anyone who has to see my face.

Never again.

I've been running for I don't know how long, and teleporting all over the country. I stop running when I find an ocean. The sky is stormy, looks like Zeus and Poseidon know where I am. Shit. I step into the water and nearly fall. Because of the searing pain in my legs, where my legs hit ocean water.

Every time I've tried to go into the sea, this happens. It's because Poseidon disowned me. Meaning even the ocean hates me, not just the people. I jump out of the water and run back to dry shore. I used to love the ocean, now not just the sky but the ocean hates me. I grab some hearthfire, a substance similar to lava, but it causes relief instead of pain. I pore a little out of a bottle I keep in my pouch.

The searing in my leg stops as the hearth-fire relieves the pain. I try to put the rest back in my bottle. Getting up, I walk along the beach moving out of the way for the waves to crash naturally. I hear Thunder crackle in the distance. And I come to the sudden realization that everyone hates me, in some way or another.

I head to some forest area and start crying. It's a quiet weeping that happens when you learn a family member died. I just sorta sit there and let all the get emotions I've had to keep hidden come out.

I don't know how long I was sitting there crying when I stop and wipe my eyes. I get up and flame travel to camp. I set out dinner like every other day, and head to the forest to think. About whatever I want. Anything at all. I walk and hear the leaves crunch under my feet. I find a small clearing to sit down on. I wrap my arms around my legs and sit in a ball. My mask connects with my legs as I press into my legs, hiding my face from the world. So they don't have to see it.

"Hestia? Why does everyone hate me? What did I do? And why can't I remember?"

A/N: Percy has severe amnesia from Tartarus, or that's what he thinks. When he first came out from Tartarus he was quiet and nearly unmoving. Hestia took these memories along with the "trial". Hestia told him a watered down trial and that's why he doesn't remember anything.
