Chapter 1: Ben

It was a normal day, sunny, windy. Until I saw a strange boy who was running from a dog in the forest. Once I reached the tree he climbed up he tried to tell me to run away or something

Carlos: "quick run away!"

Ben: "what why?"

Carlos: "Because there's a dog!"

Ben: "So?"

Carlos: "So?!"

Ben: "Yeah, it's just a dog"

Ben then picks up the dog and slowly stroke its head. The boys expression softened when I did and he slowly got down from the tree and I hand him the dog

Ben: "See? He's harmless"

Carlos: "Oh.. sorry"

Ben: "It's fine.. you're not from here are you?"

Carlos: "Uh.. No I'm not.. I'm from I'm from the isle of the lost"

Ben smirks slightly

Ben: "isle of the lost huh? I heard that some of you guys were coming here today"

Carlos: "Uh yeah.. it's a tradition I think.."

Ben smirks a bit more and he pets the dog in Carlos's arms

Ben: "You must have it rough at home if your running from a dog"

Carlos nods slightly and lets out a soft chuckle

Carlos: "Yeah well.. let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs"

Ben: "good boy.. I mean you're a good runner.. you're fast.."

Ben said slightly embarrassed as he patted Carlos's shoulder

Ben: listen.. I gotta go.. I'll leave you two alone

Carlos: uh.. okay.. I guess I'll see you soon?

Ben nods with a soft smile as his hand breaks contact from Carlos's shoulder
