Ok y'all this is gonna be a tad confusing but this is another route taking place after the chapter "goodbye airy" so probably read that  one before this. Btw voting isn't over it'll be over once one outnumbers the other or whatever btw this is an angst chapter!! (Have fun this'll be a tad long) ALSOOO this is an alternate route (canon))))))) ALSOO this might just be their human designs tooooo uhh yeah ok im done yapping now) x_x

Y/N ran down the path, stumbling, tripping on sticks and rocks. Tears rolled down their face and they sobbed lightly. They made it down the path, not letting any time go to waste. They were out of breath, but not stopping. They took heavy breaths and started to walk a bit lightly to the bottom of the waterfall, trying to find Airy.

Airys POV:

"What the fuck." Airy mumbled quietly, finding himself underwater, he put his hand to his mouth to not let any air escape, a sharp pain rushed over his body, a wave of anguish. He couldn't see out of one of his eyes..no he didn't have one of his eyes. He could barely see, but what he did see was a wavy line, a cloud now forming of clear-like red water around his face. He swam upward in a panic, crawling out of the water.

It took almost every ounce of energy to get out of the water and not yell. He crawled into a nearby bush, sobbing lightly, trying not to make noise. He took one of the pieces of cloth wrapped around his leg and dabbed his upper right face with it, the cloth soaking in red. He wrapped it fully around and stood, it took so much power..

He felt something else, a different kind of pain, rage. It took over his body with a rush of adrenaline. Y/N never loved him, if they were so desperate to kill him and get away. He almost cried out slurs, he wanted to die in that moment, wishing that when Y/N pushed him, his eye wasn't the only thing to be gone.

"Ngh...a-ow..."

He grabbed up a stick, using it to walk, though it didn't help much when he was soaking wet and almost everything he wore weighed him down. He threw off his reed woven hat to the shore area of the waterfall. Then,  limping away with all the energy his body could provide, he ventured toward the cabin.

Y/N's POV:

"What the.. fuck..where is he?" Y/N choked out in between sobs. They ran toward the outskirts of the shore, searching through bushes, looking behind trees. Y/N walked toward the shore- to find Airy's reed woven hat. No... he wouldn't take it off- and it would've taken effort to get off his head- no- did he...he's..dead.

Y/N held the hat in their arms, dropping to their knees, they sobbed. Y/N wore their emotions on their sleeve- and they weren't afraid to show them. Y/N let it out, not too loud but Y/N sat there and sobbed for quite a while. They couldn't comprehend the death of someone they loved so desperately..

Airy's POV:

"Im going to kill that son of a bitch." He mumbled to himself as he sat in the cabin and dried off. A third of him wanted Y/N to believe he was dead- another third wanted Y/N to be dead...and the last third just wanted to talk it out and hold Y/N in his arms- but he couldn't. His feelings of revenge had taken over, and the only thing he could think of was Y/N's blood on his hands. He Grabbed up the axe, rusted with chips of wood. The base was worn and dirty, and the metal blade was dull.

Airy grabbed his sharpening rock and went to work, making the blade gleam and shine. He wrapped a small cloth around the wooden handle and tied it so he didn't get and splinters ( baby). Airy then grabbed up the axe, slid on his boots, and ventured out, toward they waterfall.

Y/N's POV:

Y/N stood, they grabbed up Airy's hat in sorrow, walking back to the cabin as tears ran down their face. They paused in their tracks. A gloomy figure, a bloodstained cloth wrapped around their face. The same beautifully loving face- except filled with rage.

"Airy? Airy oh my gosh- you're alive!"

Y/N ran toward him, bracing to hug him.

Nobody's POV:

Airy put his axe straight out to stop Y/N in their tracks, an expression filled with hate- his eyes looked as if they were thirsty for revenge.

Airy swung his axe, aiming right for their head. Y/N back up in fear-

"Airy- what the hell- stop!"

Airy kept swinging , this time straight down- he missed, as Y/N jumped out of the way. Airy's axe was plunged into the dirt, he struggled to get it out- and Y/N tried to quell him. Instead, Airy swung his axe out of the ground, the wooden top slamming under Y/N's chin, Y/N falling into the dirt and clutching their jaw. They sobbed and coughed, a spit wad of blood falling to the ground.

Airy wasn't done yet, he swung his axe at Y/N's head as if he was trying to chop down a tree. Y/N rolled out of the way with the strength they had- and their eyes fluttered, slowing down.

The last thing Y/N saw was an axe about to slam down into their head, and Airy's smile.

A few hours later.

Y/N drowsily woke up- scanning their surroundings. The one thing that caught their eye.

The radio.

(Yooo this my longest chapter!!)
