Haein felt strangely tired, when it was only 6 PM.

She decided to text Hyunwoo to cancel their dinner plan at one of the fancy restaurants at Queens Mall.

"I don't think I'll eat outside tonight," she texted.

"Wae? Are you ok?" he asked, instantly worried. Because she always followed her plans, unless something bad happened.

"I'm not sure. I feel so tired. I want to go home directly."

"Did you catch a cold?"

"I don't know. Maybe."

"You shouldn't have attended the meeting in Busan. I told you to just attend it online."

"My mall, my standard. I'm the one who knows best what I want, had to check everything myself."

She acquired the biggest mall in Busan and had been renovating it for around a year. It would be reopened the next month.

Hyunwoo sighed.

"Ok. I'm still checking something important. If you want to go home together, please wait for an hour. If you want to go home first, just do it."

"I'll wait."

"I'll try to finish this in a half an hour."

"Ne."

After she hung up, she lied down on the sofa, shocking even Secretary Na.

When Haein was suffering from the cloud cystoma five years ago, she never lied down on the sofa, not even once. So it was understandable that her loyal secretary became panicked.

"Sajangnim? What's wrong???"

"Don't be noisy."

"How are you feeling? Should I call an ambulance?"

"I'm just tired. Calm down. Why are you shouting?"

"Do you need anything, Sajangnim? Painkiller? Paracetamol? A shaman, perhaps???"

"Just--go away and let me lie down for 15 minutes."

Secretary Na hurried outside and immediately called Hyunwoo.

"Baek Sajangnim, something bad happened!"

Hyunwoo felt his heart sank.

"What's wrong with her?"

"She's lying down on the sofa in her room?"

"Hong Haein? Lying down on a sofa?"

She'd never do that. The office was a battle ground for her. She'd allow herself to look nothing but perfect there. And yet she's lying down?

They were both quiet for a few seconds, thinking of the same thing. What if it was a relapse?

God forbid!

"Check her temperature then text me. I'm on my way."

Important proposal be damned, he'd check it when he had time. Haein was not alright.

Her temperature was normal, yet she did look like she barely had any energy.

They went home to his apartment--their house for the past five years--and she immediately lied down after changing.

"Let's do a general medical check-up tomorrow, Haein-ah?"
