It was a Saturday afternoon. When mom had to work. Me and Bella heard the door bell. "I'll get it!" Bella said. Bella walked to the door and opened it. It was Jack. "Oh, hey Jack. What are you doing here?" Bella said. "I need to talk to you for a minute." Jack said. "Okay." Bella said. Jack and Bella went outside. "What do you need to talk to me about?" Bella said. "It's about what happened before the fight." Jack said. "Jack, i'm over it. You don't have to apologize anymore." Bella said. "I know but, I need to make a promise. A promise not to betray you again." Jack said. "You promise?" Bella said. "I promise." Jack said. "Okay. Did you get the party invitation?" Bella said. "Yeah. I did. How about you?" Jack said. "I did too. I'm going. Are you?" Bella said. "Why not?" Jack said. "Great! I'll see you at the party then!" Bella said. "You too. Bye!" Jack said. "Bye." Bella said. After that Jack left and Bella closed the door. "Who was that?" I said. "Jack. He came to promise not to betray me again." Bella said. "That's good. Is he going to the party?" I said. "Yep." Bella said. "Cool. I hope Samantha didn't get invited." I said. "Me either." Bella said. Then we both ourselves some cereal.
