The beginning of a reunion

A/N :It's been 5 years since the war and harry became a potions teacher and he teaches the history of his past and DADA and he's also head of Gryffindor.

"Harry's POV"(great another day of teaching well it's not that bad I guess) *walks into the teachers lounge and sees McGonagall* *grabs cup of coffee*

Harry: Good morning professor I see you're up early

Mcgonagall: oh yes also sweetheart you work for Hogwarts please just call me Minerva or Mcgonagall

Harry: Nah I mean you did adopt me so I think it's more fitting to call you professor or even mom

Mcgonagall: *chuckles* well whatever floats your boat

Mcgonagall: also since today is almost the 6th year from the war ending and it's your birthday I have a little surprise for you

Harry: ?... But you know I don't l- *gets cut off by McGonagall*

Mcgonagall: you may come in now!

Harry: but you know I don't like surprises any-

*Snape walks in*

Harry: more-...

Harry: P-professor s-Snape!?!...

Snape: yes potter it's me is there a problem

Harry: N-No! Not at all I'm just shocked I thought you died

Snape: right... Well go on get to class

Harry: uhh I've graduated- nevermind I have to give professor Mcgonagall paperwork *puts it on her desk*

Mcgonagall: ah thank you harry by the way severus will be watching you teach DADA and potions

Harry: *Inhales and exhales* a-alright

Snape: *scoffs* he's the new potions professor and DADA professor? No way he's not smart enough for that

Harry: *narrows eyes* okay I may not be as old as you and I may not have been the best 5 years ago in learning but that doesn't give you any right to be an asshole to me!

Snape: *eyes widen shocked*

Mcgonagall: harry your excused to go, and good job on standing up for yourself to him and against others and don't hurt him if he pisses you off again

Harry: yes mother-

Snape: Mother!?!

Mcgonagall and harry in sync: yes adopted

Snape: oh okay-

Harry: let's go already... *Walks out with snape following* *harry walks into the classroom and stands in the front waiting for everyone to get there* *harry has a coldish stern but slightly I'm here for you if you need anything look on his face* *snape stands in a corner*

Harry: grab a chair if you want

Snape: *silently grabs an extra chair and puts it in the corner but still stands and watches the students silently walk in*

Harry: *waits for the bell to ring and grabs a clipboard and makes marks* *the bell rings*is Levi not here? *The class shakes their heads but stays silent and a little girl says* he's sick sir

Harry: alright thank you Matilda

Matilda: yes professor

Harry: everyone get your things ready you'll be taking notes *turns the ctv on*

Time skip: *later on after class* *the bell ring* alright you may go to lunch

*they all silently walk out* *harry sighs and sits down*

Snape: aren't you going to go with them?

Harry: no I have to finish grading I usually don't eat lunch anyways

Snape: that's not healthy

Harry: why do you suddenly care aren't I still the same ignorant little boy to you?

Snape: ...

Harry: exactly *goes back to grading papers*

Snape: *is observing how harry grades*
