A/n:
These last two shorts as I mentioned previously in the last part of the book are simply tying some lose ends and adding a bit of fluff to the relationships.
As always I hope the shorts meet standards!
(Missi Zilla x Zach)
Narrator perspective:
We start out short little one shot story with Zach standing infront of the doors to a grocery store.
He walked inside and towards the produce section, where he found a flower section.
He picked out pink roses, figuring Missi might like them the best.
He then walked over to the check out and bought the roses, and walked out of the store.
He opened a portal to Missi's club, and saw it was now completely redone and finished.
He smiled, feeling proud of Missi for her hard work.
He then walked up to the door, opened it, flowers in the other hand, and entered the building.
The guard recognized him immediately and simply nodded as he walked by.
"Hey, Drake. How you been holding up?"
Zach greeted to him as he walked up to the bar.
"Sup Zach. I've learned to just go with the flow, man."
Drake replied with a smirk as he cleaned a shot glass with a white rag.
"Say, is Missi in her office?"
Zach asked in a curious tone as he leaned on the counter.
"She sure is....what are the flowers for?"
Drake asked in a dragging tone as he kept his gaze on the glass.
"Well, last time her and I talked yesterday I felt like I was kind of an asshole now that I thought about it....so I went to get her a little gift as well as to talk to her for a little while."
Zach explained as he stood back up straight and looked around the room.
"I see, good choice. It's not all you though, Zach. I think we both know how on edge she's been recently because of the attack, and how much you've been eating shit the past week, ha!"
Drake remarked as he winked at Zach after.
"Well, I appreciate the assurance Drake, trust me, I do. I'll see you later man, keep staying cool."
Zach replied as he waved after and walked off into the crowd of people.
"You too kid."
Drake said under his breath as he finished rubbing the glass.
He put it on the shelf next to all of the other intricately cleaned glasses, then smiled triumphantly at them afterwards.
We cut back to Zach, who is trying his best to keep the flowers protected.
Luckily, no damage is dealt to them as he made his way through the crowd.
He eventually made it to the staff hallway he was oh so familiar with.
He walked down the hallway and saw Missi's office door.
He knocked three times gently.
"Hello?"
Missi replied in a stressed out tone.
"Hey Mia, it's Zach."
Zach responded as he stepped back once in case she opened the door.
He heard her get up and walk over to the door.
She opened it fully and leaned on the door frame.
"What can I do for you sweetie?"
Missi asked with a smile as she looked at the flowers.
"These...are for you. I'm sorry for the way I blew you off yesterday. It's just been really hard and I've been going through a lot, but that's no excuse to treat you that way. I just want you to know that I really am sorry and that I love you."
Zach confessed as he held them out to her.
"Zach, you didn't have to that.."
Missi replied as she put her hair behind her ear and gently took the flowers from his hand.
Zach put both his hands in his front pockets.
Missi smiled as she inspected them, seeming in love by the sight of the plant.
Missi set the flowers down gently on a nearby table, then gave Zach a hug.
"You don't have to be sorry, honey, I know things have been hard for you lately. I'll always love you even if you do break my heart."
Missi said in a mumbled tone as her tail curled and caressed Zach a few times.
"Thanks...same here Mia."
Zach said lowly as the two broke the fairly long hug.
"Also, I wanted to let you know some big news. Loona and are having a baby soon."
Zach mentioned with a smile.
Missi gasped as her pupils grew massively.
"What!? That's amazing! Is it a boy or a girl? What are you going to name he or she?"
Missi asked in an enthusiastic tone as her shook her hands infront of her chest to represent excitement.
"It's a girl, and we're naming her Sylvie. Loona came up with the name."
Zach replied with a worn-out smile.
Missi hugged Zach, shoving his face into her bosom.
"You'll be a great father Zach, I'm ready to be a grandma!"
Missi exclaimed as she pulled Zach's head back and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Zach laughed and hugged her again one last time.
"I have a small favor to ask since Loona is pregnant. We were thinking of moving somewhere else away from blitz just because we wanted it to just be her and I. That being said, I thought maybe we could get a place in the same neighborhood as Glitz and Glam. I still need to figure out some bits and pieces but would you mind finding us a place maybe? Don't worry, I've got the financial part covered, I just need someone with more of a keen eye of real estate for this."
Zach explained as he crossed his arms afterward.
"That's something I can do, Zach."
Missi replied with a smile as she walked back in to her office.
"Alright, well I'm about to head out, I'll see you another time. Love you."
Zach said loudly to make sure she heard him.
"Love you too! Good luck with the baby!"
Missi replied as she began typing on her computer again.
Zach closed her door and then walked away.
End of short.
