Three hours later, Willow was finally settled on the ward. Her leg was broken just like Natasha had expected, and she'd earned herself a bright pink cast all the way up to her knee. She was attached to a drip to get her fluids up, but other than a few scrapes and bruises, that was the extent of her injuries.
Willow was currently snoozing in Autumns arms, her face smushed against the woman's chest causing little creases to appear in the corner of her eye. Drool was pooling at the corner of her mouth also, staining the material of her shirt.
Natasha was here now too, her shift finished, and she was out of her scrubs and in a comfortable pair of jeans and hoodie. Autumn had tried to convince her to go home and get some much needed sleep considering she'd been up all night, but the woman had adamantly refused, stating that she needed to be here just in case she or Willow needed anything.
Autumn didn't have the heart to fight her on the subject.
She was currently lounged on a recliner placed in the corner of the room, laptop placed on her thighs and her glasses perched on her nose. Autumn had a sneaking suspicion as to what she was up to, but chooses to wait a little while before bringing it up.
Resting her head back against the pillow, she runs her hand through Willows hair. Her fingers get caught in the tangled strands, and she immediately stills her hand not wanting to wake her up. She was in desperate need of a wash, but Natasha had wanted to let Willow to sleep for a while first, and Autumn had readily agreed.
"The paperwork is sorted." Natasha breaks the silence, and Autumn lifts her head in time to see the redhead leaning forward in her seat to place her laptop back into its bag.
She raises an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
Natasha shrugs slightly as she anxiously rubs her hands over her thighs. "she has nowhere to go." Was all she says, her voice quiet. Autumn stares at her for a while before carefully easing herself out from beneath Willow, making sure the little one was all covered up before making her way over to Natasha.
She bends and cups the woman's cheeks, waiting for unsure green eyes to meet her own before leaning in to press a tender kiss to her lips. It was reciprocated with ease, and Autumn smiles as she pulls away.
"Go lay with her." Was all she says, and Natasha swallows heavily before nodding her head and tentatively rising to her feet.
When she makes it to the hospital bed, she sends Autumn a look of hesitation. Autumn simply sends her an encouraging smile, and that was enough for her to gain the courage to situate herself into the bed next to Willow. She didn't quite know how to get situated at first, but the little one soon solves that issue for her by letting out a quiet whimper and reaching out to her.
Natasha grins as she tugs Willow into her arms, mimicking the same position her wife had take on just moments prior. Willow lets out a sigh of content as her head settles in between her breasts, her hand rising to tightly clutch the material of Natasha's hoodie over her right breast.
Natasha cups the back of her head, her other hand coming to rest over Willow's own and squeezing softly.
"There we go. I've got you." She murmurs tenderly, lips pressing gently to the top of the little ones head.
Across the room, Autumns had taken Natasha's place in the recliner. She watches her girls with watery eyes, her heart so full it could burst.

With her permanent living situation sorted, it was time to focus on getting in all the necessary items Willow would need. Whilst Natasha stays at the hospital, Autumn spends the next several hours at target. She picks up diapers -several packs, baby wipes -again; several packs.
