Days turned into weeks, and my admiration for her grew stronger. I found myself eagerly anticipating each day's glimpse of her, cherishing the moments when our eyes met, even if just for a fleeting second.
One afternoon, as I was leaving class, I noticed her sitting alone by the window, lost in thought. Something about her demeanor tugged at my heartstrings, and before I knew it, I found myself walking towards her.
"Hi," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. She looked up, surprised to see me standing there.
"Hi," she replied, a curious expression in her eyes.
"I-I just wanted to say," I stuttered, my nerves getting the best of me, "I've noticed your passion for photography, and I think it's really amazing. Your photos capture so much beauty and emotion."
A smile slowly spread across her face, and she thanked me, her eyes sparkling with gratitude.
Encouraged by her response, I continued, "I was wondering if, maybe, you'd like to go for a walk with me sometime? I'd love to hear more about your photography and maybe even show you some of my own work."
She hesitated for a moment, then nodded, a shy smile playing on her lips. "I'd like that," she said softly.
And just like that, with a simple confession and a shared interest, our unspoken connection blossomed into something more tangible, filling the air with the promise of new beginnings.
