Chapter 6: invation and a present

P.O.V. [Name]

I was walking towards the beacon building until I felt something was off. Something in the back of my head kept telling me to go to the town square after about ten minutes of me trying to ignore this feeling and it just returning I finally decided to head towards the center of town.

When I arrived nothing seemed to be out of place and then the ground started to shake. I didn't know what to make of it until a couple of Grimm burst through the ground and they where followed by even more Grimm. I readied my weapon. The [Weapon name] which is basically a chain whip.

I looked around and saw that the number of Grimm kept increasing. 'Glad I listened to that feeling.' I thought as I began to kill Grimm. When I did I saw that more and more just kept coming out from the ground. I then heard the sound of foot steps behind me and I turned to see my long time BFF Jaune.

"Any ideas?" He asked looking at me.

"yeah we need to get rid of all the ones in the hole after that we can focus on the rest." I said looking at him.

"Okay any idea's on how we can pull that one off?" He asked once again looking at me.

"Yeah I got one just keep these damn things off me for a couple of minutes." I said looking at him.

"Sure what do you need me to do?" He asked looking at me.

I jumped on top of a building and yelled out to him. "Just make sure no Grimm get close to me." When I did I looked at the hole and began to transfer all the energy I had into my hand. As I did I watched as Jaune and his team kept some of the Grimm off me.

About half way through I looked at Jaune to see that he had taken down a few different Grimm. The rest of his team had also taken down several Grimm and when I had what I figured should have been enough energy to kill the I told Jaune and the others I was ready.

"Hey Guys I'm ready." I shouted out and Nora got beside me. She had her usual smile her face and looked at me with eager eyes.

"Think you can get me over that hole?" I asked looking at her. When I did she smirked and slammed her hammer down in front of me sending me flying through the air when I looked at the ground I saw I was where I had asked to be right over the hole the Grimm had created.

P.O.V. change Jaune

I watched as [Name] was sent flying over the hole courtesy of Nora and her massive hammer. When he was above the ground he had a focused look he was giving the hole a death stare then all of a sudden he brought his hand down and a large storm of electricity came pouring out of his hand.

I watched as the electricity went directly into the hole and I heard several screams of Grimm but they where shortly silenced when [Name] Landed on the ground he covered his ears. I didn't understand why until a huge crash of thunder rolled in behind his attack.

It was extremely loud and very powerful in fact the ground beneath me began to shake as it finally came to an end. I looked at [Name] to see his hand was still discharging small waves of electricity and he looked just a little out of breath which for him is an odd thing.

When I began to walk towards him we got a call say another hole had opened up not to far away from where we where. I walked over to [Name] and he smirked. "I can still fight I'm just going to need a power nap after this." He said his confidence really showing through.

"Alright well then let's go." I said looking at him.

We rushed off to where the new hole was and when we got their I saw the team of RWBY already their and killing several Grimm with them still coming out of a hole similar to the one we had just dealt with. "Think you can do one more?" I heard Nora ask.

"Of course I can just keep them off me like last time." I heard [Name] say as he once again went to a secluded location and knelt there for a little bit.

"Just like last time?" I asked to my surprise he responded.

"No a little different actually Nora will stay here with me so she can turn me into a human bottle rocket again and you and the other two will go and tell the others to stay away from the hole." He said as I saw electricity start to gather around his hand. I nodded and went to warn the others of what he had just told me.

P.O.V. change Ruby

I saw Jaune running towards me I had seen him stop by the others and tell them something real quick but I hadn't really paid much attention to it. "Ruby stay away from the hole the Grimm are coming form." He said before he ran off when he did I grabbed his wrist.

"Why?" I asked him before he shook my hand off him.

"Your boyfriend's going to do something and you don't want to be close when he does." He said as he ran over to Weiss I then looked around to locate [Name] and I found him on top of a building knelt down and at first I thought something was wrong but the he looked to Nora and nodded.

She launched him into the air and he went over the hole when he was over it he shot a massive amount of lighting into the hole and fell to the ground after he did that finishing off the rest of the Grimm was pretty easy.

I walked over to him and he had a smile on his face. "Hey Ruby." He said waving at me. He then reached behind his back and pulled out a plastic bag full of cookies. "See I told you I'd bring some today." He said as I took the cookies. I was about to kiss him but then I noticed how many people where staring.

I leaned up to his ear and whispered. "Let's go somewhere else. I want to give you a kiss and I don't want all these people watching." To which he nodded and we walked off interlocking hands.
