The Wild Robot: Adventures troubles.

Chapter 3: Runaway

Roz struggled and struggled, trying to break free from the grasp of the RECO bots. She was worried deeply about BrightBill, he would be separated from his mother...

Roz now entered the facility, where all Units would be made, several machines frozen in place open their mouths and close. and each time they opened, parts would be revealed, and moved forward, where more units would continue to work on the part as it is sent into another machine. Clearly they were meant to create and repair. Roz stared at the very end of the line, where the units are finished, and sent through out of view to get programmed. Roz could not analyze more, as she was tugged to follow along with the RECO units. Roz and the other units were sent into a elevator, heading down to a part of the facility. Rozzum parts were scattered across the room, just like she had seen when she first awoke on the side of the forest. 

To her right, was a giant machine, sharper than the others she had seen earlier. This one was thinner, stronger, and clearly used to dismantle units. She began to panic, and squirmed around with the grip of the RECO units. She broke free and immediately jumped into a vent, the RECOs were too big to enter the vent. Roz just barely fit, so she kept her body and head low. Crawling through the air shaft. She was quick however, and luckily made it out. She slid down the vent and burst open a pipe, she was now in the city once again. But this time, the city was inhabited by more and more Rozzum units, carrying groceries, flying hover-crafts, watering plants, while humans were lying in bed, sick and ill. Even the children. 

Roz was struck with shock and empathy. As she heard the sirens alarm from the facility, she began running, but still stared back at the poor, helpless city. She shook her head, and ran back. Hiding in one of the alleyways, as aircrafts were sent into the sky. 

Roz waited until they were fully gone to come out from hiding, she looked at the smoke coming from the giant tubes above the facility. She had to do something about this.
