Due to their parents, both Eliza and Jungkook agreed for the marriage.Eliza thinks of it as just a power gain and it was a chance to try at love for Jungkook.
The families arranged a dinner so that Jungkook and Eliza could get to know each other. The Jeon family has arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant is sponsored by them so they have their mafia men with them to handle any trouble. After all, they are mafias as well as businessmen they always prepare for the worst.
Eliza's dad and his wife arrived and greeted the Jeons
"she'll arrive anytime soon" Mr.Mikealson says while looking at the time.
They are waiting while the jeons and mikealsons are talking and Jungkook is looking at his phone rather anxiously- as if he was running late for something.
Suddenly chris Mikealson's phone rang . It was Eliza . (On the phone speaker )
"Sorry dad I can't come to the family dinner. I believe I'll meet him on the day I get engaged. "
"But eliz-"
"Can you give the phone to my future mother and father in law . I want to apologize to them"
"Is it Liz ,honey ? " Yunas mother interrupts
(Chris turns the phone )
"I am very sorry mom and dad I will not be able to make it to the dinner. I have some important work . I need to work on my company's share price. I hope I will see you soon on the engagement. I am really sorry . And I apologise to you to Jungkook . I shouldn't have turned you all down like this but work is important. Sorry to take your time . "
"Of course you ruined my precious time. "Jungkook mutters
"Did you say something?" Eliza questions.
"I said it's alright that you cannot be here . I have somewhere to go myself ." Saying this Jungkook abruptly leaves . And Eliza ends the call after saying good bye .
(Eliza's pov)
I don't think Jungkook meant it when he said it's alright it bothered him a lot he seemed in a rush . Whatever I can freely go clubbing now tht i dont have to attend the ridiculous family dinner .
"Wht are you thinking about ?? Let's go! Take out your car ."Miyeon (Eliza's friend) yells
"Yea yea I am . Why are you so impatient "
They reach the club .
Miyeon was known by all . She is the daughter of one of the richest person in Seoul. Miyeon and Eliza are completely opposite. Rather she was busy thinking about her marriage .What if she made the wrong choice? Suddenly she remembered something. She had to announce her marriage in public . She called her secretary to prepare for the upcoming business event as Eliza will be attending.
