Lexi stumbled through the darkness, her heart pounding in her chest. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss, that there were secrets lurking in the shadows waiting to be uncovered. As she emerged into the light, Lexi found herself in a small, dimly lit room. In the center of the room sat a solitary chair, its wooden frame weathered with age.Seated in the chair, with eyes that bore into her soul, was Asher Ryan. "Lexi, I'm sorry," his voice broke the silence, barely above a whisper. "Your mother didn't leave Ravenswood, Lexi," he began, his voice tinged with sorrow. "She was murdered. And I've been searching for answers ever since."

The words hit Lexi like a physical blow, knocking the breath from her lungs. Murdered?
