There were about 25 to 30 members of Woozi's family there. How they managed to fit at 2 large dining room tables is beyond him.

"Hey, you going to be okay?" Taeyong whispered, making sure Hoshi didn't hear him.

He was referring to Woozi's tendency to get overwhelmed during huge social gatherings. It was actually one of the main reasons he stopped attending these dinners.

They tended to be ALOT.

"I should be fine." Woozi nodded, sitting down next to his boyfriend after making their plates.

Woozi engaged in conversation best he could while eating. But if he was being honest, with every passing minute, the noise and energy level seemed to escalate.

At first, Woozi managed to keep up, nodding and laughing along with the business stories being shared.

But as more and more people joined in, the voices blended together. And despite being at the end of the table, Woozi felt like he was in the center of a whirlwind.

The room started to feel suffocatingly small, and Woozi could feel his chest almost start to tighten.

And Hoshi seemed to notice. He placed his hand ontop of the youngers, giving it a reassuring squeeze.

"Ji? You okay?" Hoshi asked.

"Yeah - just excuse me for a second." Woozi exused himself from the table, quickly running out of the dining room.

Hoshi and Taeyong shared a knowing look before Taeyong motioned for Hoshi to go after him.

Hoshi nodded, excusing himself from the table as well. He quickly made his way upstairs to Woozi's room, where the younger sat, his face burried in his hands.

Hoshi could tell Woozi was overwhelmed, just like at the park and at the party.

"Baby." Hoshi called softly as he crouched down in front of Woozi. "Are you okay?" He asked again as Woozi slowly lifted his head.

"It's - It's just a lot." Woozi admitted. "It's why I normally don't attend these dinners." Woozi explained.

"Oh baby, I'm sorry. I would'nt have agreed to us going if I knew it would make you this overwhelmed." Hoshi apologised.

"No, don't be sorry. It was my idea for us to come." Woozi said. "Plus, I wanted them to meet you." He added.

Hoshi smiled softly as he sat down next to Woozi on the bed, holding his arms open for a hug.

Woozi returned Hoshi's smile as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend in a tight hug. "Can we stay up here for a few minutes?" Woozi asked quietly.

"Ofcouse we can." Hoshi said, lightly tracing patterns across Woozi's back.
