its been a couple of weeks and were finally flying out to Virginia, i'm so excited but also nervous, i know walker has been watching the livestreams and such but him being in the crowd is so different i'm scared i will mess up.

"hey, how long is the ride again" dove asks while rolling her suitcase to the van we have, i look down to my phone "an hour and 24 min without any pit stops" we both place out cases in the back and hope into the car

me in the passenger, dove in the backseat, Alex next to dove, and may dad driving us

"ok so we'll stop in like 2 hours?" my dad asks turning his body slightly to face us, we all make some noise of agreement before he starts driving off.

dove leans over to grab my dads phone to change to music and instantly the beginning of stick season starts playing

"hey dad you think we'll be able to go to a noah kahan concert soon?" i ask him, my feet on the seat so my knees are folded into myself and i'm holding my kindle "maybe depends how much his tickets are" he replies to me, only looking at me through the sides of his eyes

I get bored an hour into the drive, so I turn to dove and give her my kindle as she's reading a kindle unlimited book right now and she doesn't have one just yet and once I turn back I pull up my messages with walker and start texting him
