CHAPTER FIVE. Grumpy Man

The gala party is in a week and Sia hasn't been able to convince Kaius yet,all her plans to annoy him to agree failed brutally. Sia was thinking really hard but nothing was popping in at all. She heard a knock on the door and she smiled seeing the person. Welcome Trisha,do you know how long I've been waiting for you? Trisha stammered "I'm really sorry ma'am,I was preparing the report of the new product". And is it done? Yes ma'am. I hope I don't have any schedule today because I have to go home to check how the engagement preparation is going. Yes ma'am. Trisha was Sia secretary at Creme Deluxe. Apart from Sia being a model and an actress,she is also one of the most successful business lady. She owns Creme Deluxe where the best skin care products were sold. She also owns Pearly Perfect Luxe where the best fashion outfits were sold. She has been managing both the boutique and the company on her own. Sia looked at Trisha before saying "you know you are all invited to Ria's engagement right". Yes ma'am I'll remind the others. Good, I'll leave now. Sure ma'am, goodbye.
When Sia got home,her mansion has been transformed into a beautiful palace just like in a fairytale movie. The engagement will be taking place at her place being the bride's only family. Kevin who saw her arrive went towards her. Welcome back ma'am. Wow Kevin,this place looks beautiful that I even thought I was in a fairytale movie. Kevin chuckled before replying "you hired the best decorators and they really did their best to make sure you are satiated. I love it and I'm very sure Ria will also love it. She raised an eyebrow and asked "talking about Ria,where is she"? Kevin swallowed really hard because they were all supposed to keep an eye on Ria because she was not meant to leave the house. Actually ma'am she came to me earlier and told me that the manicurists won't be able to come so she will have to go to them instead and umm immediately she left the manicurists arrived and umm they said they never called her. Sia was fuming in anger because she already know where Ria was. Call the manicurists and tell them to come back and I'll deal with Ria Rollins on my own and you will be dealt with later. Yes ma'am. Sia left and went straight to her car. Richard who was always ready got inside the car and asked "where ma'am"? To Nayson house. Richard knew the second ma'am has left the house even though she's not suppose to. He drove as fast as he could so as not to get scolded.
Ria and Nayson were both cuddling each other on the couch when Sia arrived. Immediately Ria saw her she knew she was in trouble. Ms Ria Rollins,you were suppose to be at the Savage mansion but here you are cuddling with Mr Maverick. Your mother in-law gave me just one task to do and that is to make you the prettiest tomorrow and I was doing exactly that when I told you to stay home today so that the manicurists can do their magic but you insisted on turning deaf ears, seriously Ria,I'm very disappointed in you. Nayson was about to say something when Sia shut him up "zip it Mr man I'm not done talking. You should have sent her back home when she came here but you couldn't,what the hell is wrong with the both of you". Ria bowed her head down. I'm really sorry Sia. Sia looked at the both of them and said "bid yourself goodbye I don't know whether you're gonna hug or kiss just bid yourself goodbye and you Ms Rollins I'll be waiting for you in the car and make it fast ". They both replied in unison "yes ma'am ". As soon as Sia was out of sight the duo started laughing. Hahahaha,Sia is so funny,said Nayson. Yeah you're right but I should really get going now. They hugged each other before Ria finally left. When Ria got outside Sia just stared at her. Give me your car keys. Ria gave it to her and asked her where she was going "Richard will take you home,I have somewhere I need to go and no running away this time". Yes Sia,I won't.
Sia went straight to the Masterplans Incorporation. Kaius was in his office talking to his grandfather. Grandpa,I really don't want to go so please don't force me. My son,please go and I promise I won't get hospitalize again,I'll listen to you and the dietitian. They were disturbed by the intercom. I have to pick this grandpa. Yes,tell me. Dora said on the other line "sir you have a visitor". Kaius thought it was the person he was expecting and replied "let him in". Before Dora could correct him that it was not a him but a her he already dropped the intercom. Grandpa,you should go now cause I have a meeting with Mr Archie. Okay son,I'll leave. Elder Brooks stood up to leave and he practically opened the door for Sia. Wow grandpa,you are here. Elder Brooks was surprised to see her. It's you dear. They both hugged each other. Kaius who heard Sia's voice was shocked. Sia walked toward Kaius and gave the prettiest smile she could come up with. Hi Mr Brooks. And can I ask you what you are doing in my office. Calm down Grumpy man,I came here for business. Kaius raised an eyebrow.Oh really. Yes. You know I've been trying my very best to convince you to come with me to the gala party and now you will have no choice but to come. Really. Yeah Mr Brooks. Just go straight to the point Ms Savage. Umm actually I and my girlfriends in the entertainment world want to do business with you and I mean real business. Kaius smirked and asked "what is it all about"? Hmmm I told my friends you will be coming with me to the gala party and they all squealed in happiness. They are very eager to meet you because they have a business proposal for you and do you know who brought the idea. It's princess Siyabonga Dlamini of Eswatini and the rest agreed with her. Kaius suddenly got interested. Tell me, what is this business all about. Whoo looks like someone is interested. Elder Brooks chuckled and said "I'm also very interested dear". I'll say it grandpa, actually the entertainment industry are planning to build a penthouse just for the entertainment activities and all the models and actresses are in charge so we are planning to actually give this million dollar contract to Mr Kaius Brooks but only if he comes to the gala party. So think about it Mr Brooks because it's a million dollar contract we are saying. Kaius was ready to agree to it without even thinking about it but he pretended to be thinking about it. Think fast Mr Brooks, it's really gonna benefit Masterplans Incorporation. Fine I'll attend the gala party just to discuss about business. Whatever,as long as you come the contract is yours. Good then. Elder Brooks was very happy because Sia fulfilled her promise. Sia looked at Elder Brooks and asked "it looks like you were leaving earlier grandpa"? Yes dear I was. Sia smiled and said "let's go have some fun together and to also celebrate the fact that your grumpy grandson is attending the gala party". Kaius who heard that asked "you know you are still in my office right". Sia laughed and said "we'll leave then but make sure you don't scold that poor secretary of yours because you weren't patient enough to let her inform you that it was not a him but a her". Kaius glared at her before shouting "just leave already". Sia left with Elder Brooks to have fun.
