The clinking of silverware filled the breakfast room as Karan and Tejasswi arrived.

"Hi Tejasswi," Karan greeted with a smile.

"Hi Mr. Noon," Tejasswi replied, her voice laced with a playful formality.

Karan's smile faltered for a moment. Karan glared.

T: I mean Karan. It will take time.. you just cant change my so many year's of habit in 1 night Karan .right? so learn to have patience.. she said casually..

Karan smiled..

K: good to know that even not in one night.. but still I can change someone's habit..

T: dont flirt.. I am not open for flirting..

K: Am I flirting?

Their conversation was interrupted by a notification on their phones. Both checked it, their eyes widening in unison.

"What the hell?" Tejasswi muttered.

"Looks like we're not going back today," Karan sighed.

A video call popped up, revealing their collaborator's face. Tejasswi answered.

"Ms. Chatterjee, is Mr. Noon with you?" the man inquired.

"Yes, he is," Tejasswi said, handing the phone to Karan. "Tell us what's going on."

"Due to a sudden weather change and a cyclone alert, you both won't be able to fly back today," the man explained apologetically. "You'll need to stay here for an additional two days. Unfortunately, you can't leave the hotel either."

Karan shot Tejasswi a helpless look. "Seriously?"

"We can't control the weather, sir and ma'am," the man said. "It's an act of nature. We couldn't have predicted this., It's god's plan"

Tejasswi sighed. "Fine. Book our tickets for Monday morning then."

After the call ended, Karan ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "Ugh, I hate sudden changes and god's plan.. like really? God wants me and you get stuck for two days here because he has plans for us. I can make plans for us then.. I hate sudden changes ..arghhh"

"Karan, stop," Tejasswi said in a stern voice. "This is you being grumpy again. It's like nothing has changed in twelve years. Remember when you were crying over your ex and flirting with me all that time? You're still the same childish self."

Karan stared at her, his expression unreadable. "Dia," he said softly.

Tejasswi's breath hitched. "What?"

"Dia," Karan repeated, his eyes searching hers. "Don't you remember the night we met? Don't you remember me?"

Tejasswi was speechless, a flicker of recognition battling with disbelief in her eyes.

"I need to get some air," she mumbled, pushing herself away from the table.

"Wait, Dia," Karan pleaded, reaching for a bracelet in his pocket. "You shouldn't have given this to me then."

Tejasswi stopped short, her gaze falling on the familiar golden bracelet. A small smile played on her lips. "You still have it?"

"Of course, Dia," Karan said, his voice thick with emotion. "It's my lucky charm from my special girl. You taught me to live life to the fullest, to laugh and smile even when the future is uncertain."

"At least you moved on from your ex," Tejasswi said, a hint of teasing in her voice.

"Someone did help me move on," Karan admitted. "But then I never got to tell her how I felt. Maybe I still have a chance." He looked at Tejasswi with a hopeful glint in his eyes.
