Abhimanyu pov

Upon arriving at my workplace, I noticed that my employees seemed to be on high alert. This reaction was not new to me, as it was a daily occurrence. I have always preferred to work with professionals who take their work seriously and exhibit a high level of dedication.

It is challenging for me to tolerate anyone who behaves in a silly or unprofessional manner. One of my pet peeves is when people do not complete their work on time. Every second counts for me, and I believe that time management is crucial to achieving success in any endeavour.

Abhimanyu's presence was intimidating, and it showed his dominance among his colleagues. He had an automatic smirk on his face, and everyone was afraid to look him in the eye. Abhimanyu despised it when someone stared at him directly.

Abhimanyu POV:

I loved being dominant. As I entered the lift, my assistant joined me. He was the most innocent guy I had ever seen, and I didn't know how he would survive in this world. I looked at him, and he gave me a little smile as he pushed the floor button.

I then continued, "Good morning, Mishra. How is life?" He was a little shocked, but he composed himself and greeted me with a smile and a nod. He handed me my tab with today's schedule and started to explain.

Shashank continued to explain, "As you can see, sir, today's schedule is not that busy. First, you have a meeting with Agro Enterprises, then you need to attend an online meeting with a Russian businessman. Unfortunately, you have also been invited to attend a clinic opening ceremony."

I looked at him with a disbelieving look. He nodded and handed me the invitation, which was handwritten. I slowly mumbled, "How unprofessional can they be?"

Ignoring everything, I opened the letter, and it was about a psychiatric clinic opening ceremony. I started to think do I look like psychotic person to her.  I said to Shashank, "I think you forgot that I don't attend these types of invitations and functions. I hope I made myself clear about this. And who the hell are they to invite me, the great Abhimanyu Singh Raghuvanshi?" I looked at him with a sharp look on my face.

He apologized and said, "I'm sorry, sir. I told her about this, but she insisted that I should at least give you this. I think you should engage in social work too."

I gave him a disbelieving look and exited towards my cabin, sat on my chair, and looked at the invitation again. After some time of thinking, I looked at him again and said, "Tell them I will be there for just 10 minutes. I hope you understand my situation, and this will be your last mistake."

I knew I was shaking with fear, and he held his head down before leaving my cabin. I sat in my chair, thinking about my flowers and love. I knew I was silly to think that people these days had any common sense. How could they invite the great Abhimanyu Singh Raghuvanshi to their not-so-popular and reputed clinic? What did they think of themselves?

I picked up the card and started to read it. It said, "Good morning, Abhimanyu. I hope you are reading this. I'm sorry for being unprofessional. I'm sorry about my unprofessional way of invitations, but I think we should do something as we are neighbours at work, and we will meet in the future too. It's good to create good connections. That's why I'm writing you a personal letter to invite you formally. I'm sorry, but the opening ceremony will start at 7:00 p.m. I hope you will be on time. Even if you come for a second, I will appreciate it."

Thanks,

Your work neighbour,

Ashanika Singh.

After reading her letter, I chuckled. What a funny creature she was. While reading the letter, I thought  do I look like psycho to her. I remembered something and called my assistant. After a few minutes, he knocked at my cabin, and I asked him, "So, any information about Rudra Singh?" He showed me his tab with a PDF file containing information about Rudra Singh.

Shashank explained, "As you asked me, sir, about Rudra Singh, he is one of the reputed men in Rajasthan. He has been married for four years and has two sisters, one is married, and the other one is unmarried. The unmarried one is still hidden from society because they are not in connection with each other."

Before I started to drift off in my thoughts, he said something that made me stand up and come in front of him. I asked him to repeat what he said, and he continued, "There is one girl who used to visit his wife every day. As I got reported, she must be the girl you are searching for.

I was lost in thought when suddenly something he said caught my attention. I stood up and went to face him, asking him to repeat what he said. He looked surprised by my behaviour but continued, saying that a girl who visited his wife every day might be the one I was looking for.

I looked at him intently, hoping that he was serious and sure about his claim. He seemed confused, but I signalled him to continue. He said that he was not entirely sure but promised to verify it before 6:00 p.m. today.

I didn't budge from my position and nodded in agreement. I reminded him that he should give me a clear answer before 6:00 p.m., not at 6:00 p.m. I hoped that he understood my request and wouldn't disappoint me.

As he left my cabin, I sighed and looked out the window to see the beautiful Jaipur city. However, my thoughts were still with my love, wondering where she was and how she was doing. She was a stubborn girl who never relied on anyone, not even her family.

I promised myself that I would find her and show her what she had missed and deserved. I would claim her in every possible way, and no one else would have her. My mind was consumed with the thoughts of her, and I was no longer interested in work.

I received a message from Shashank, reminding me of the scheduled meeting with Agro Enterprises. But my mind was elsewhere, and I couldn't concentrate. I only wanted to find my love and make sure she was safe.

The mere thought of her being with someone else made my blood boil. If anyone had dared to come close to her, I would destroy them. She was mine to claim, observe, desire, worship, and even hurt.

SHE IS MINE, AND I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO KEEP HER SAFE ........
