"Good morning sunshine how did you sleep?" Danielle said to her 7 year old daughter
"I slept okay mommy.. I had a dream about daddy coming back and getting back with you so we can all be one happy family!!"
Chase said running to the table to sit down and eat her breakfast
Danielle sighed. She walked away for a second, well, a minute, before coming and shaking her head
"Sorry baby I've told you before.. daddy's not coming back... Daddy did some bad things.."
"But mommy!... Daddy loves you though right? Don't you love him?"
Those words hurt Danielle more than anything..
"Baby.. love is a waste of time.."
"But I love you mommy!!"
"I love you too sweetheart... Now eat up! We wouldn't want to be late for you to go see grandma now would we?"
Chase giggled and almost fell out of her chair "nooo~ yay grandma yay grandma!"
