It was a quiet morning at y/n's store.

The sun had barely peaked over Seoul and yet she was already working like a diligent owner, some blackpink music was playing in the background to keep her company.

A moment later the bell rings and she looks up from the counter to see a girl walk in with a gray beanie and a huge gray hoodie on top.

Y/n smiles at the sight and asks. "Are you the new worker?"

The girl nods and smiles back. "Yep!"

Y/n had been wanting some extra help since recently a lot of customers had been entering and it was hard to keep up with stuff.

"alright why don't you go place your stuff down in the back and I'll start teaching you." Pointing her thumb at the back room the girl walks over and enters as y/n grabs a brown apron from one of the cabinets.

The girl then comes back and y/n hands her the brown apron. She had some trouble with tying it so y/n decided to help. Her fingers would graze against her sweater as she tied a bow on the back. The apron was a bit too big so y/n had to adjust the neck area which also meant her fingers were touching the back of the girl's neck.

"Alright before we start we need to add some pins onto here to make it look lively and not dull, so why don't you go ahead a pick our a few." Holding out a small container the girl began looking through and found a few to put on.

"So first things first you need learn how to restock the shelves. Here we do it in a specific way so that when the customer walks in it it will be the first thing they see. For every shelf we will have one of each item on display with the products right underneath it, since it is Sunday and we restock everyday you came at the perfect time to help me!" Y/n handed the girl a huge box that made her groan and slightly stumble.

"Try restocking that shelf right there." Pointing at an empty one, y/n walked behind the girl who walked slowly due to the box, she softly dropped it onto the floor and began grabbing items out. Before placing it on the shelf she looked at y/n who nodded her head to gesture her to keep going.

Slowly the girl began putting stuff up in the style that she think is right. That was before y/n softly grabbed her hand to tilt the object. "You have to slightly tilt it a bit to make it 3d and not 2d." She explains.

The girl gulped and nodded her head, her words ultimately getting stuck in her throat.

"You got it? Great! Now the easiest part of this job! The cash register!"

Y/n gestured her to just leave the boxes there as they stepped over a few to make it to the counter. "So this machine is quite explanatory you scan the item and what ever number shows up there you tell the customer who will then give you their card or cash, if the customer does card you don't need to click the recipe button since it prints the moment the customer pays, but if they pay in cash you'll click here and put in the amount they gave. it'll then calculate how much money you give them back, you grab that amount and click this button here which prints out the recipe."

To the girl y/n's words entered one ear and didn't leave the other, so she just stood there confused as y/n just patted her shoulder. "You'll get it as you practice" She then grabbed a few stickers and said. "Scan these and pretend that I'm a customer."

The girl grabbed the little remote gun and scanned the barcodes, y/n then handed her a 10 dollar bill and the girl inputed it into the register. She then opened the money drawer and took out a 5 dollar bill and clicked the recipe button which printed out.
