Yeonjun's trial was over and he got sent into a group home for teenagers and young adults to learn how to get into real adult life with things that seemed as simple as grocery shopping or folding laundry but also for learning how to deal with money, debt or how to pay taxes and so on.
Y/n got sent in there as well, it should be a good training for living as an adult and being part of the society.
This way these two lovebirds got to appreciate the smaller things in life again and grew as human beings and as a couple.
Group therapy was necessary to stay in this group home and actually, they had a lot more to say than what they initially thought they would.
This way you two got even closer than you already were and loved every little thing about each other just even more.
Days, weeks and even months went on and you and Yeonjun showed absolutely great progress. Sure, there was still a lot more to learn and a lot more to say but at a certain time it was time to go.
Of course, the few workers there helped you navigate on how to continue with your lives, apply for jobs and find somewhere to live.
And so, you two settled for outside of Seattle and found a trailer park which should be enough for the two of you to live in and to get back into society in general.
And it was more than enough.
The people were great and the little space with just literally everything you absolutely necessarily needed was all you could ask for.
You two volunteered to help out in the soup kitchen on the weekends, just doing absolutely everything to make up for the stupid things you did and both of you felt like by giving to the people you'd take back responsibility and control over your lives again.
Of course, eventually there was these questions that had been bugging Yeonjun for a really long time now... Racing? Was he ever going to race again?
Were the people fond of him coming back? Would the arenas allow him back into the field?
He really missed racing.
He swore to never do it illegally again and only attend official races... if he was allowed back, of course.

Neither of you had heard from Kai in a really long time, you weren't even sure if he was still supporting the two of you and if he was still your friend or if he just forgot about the two of you...

Kai was actually living his best life. Somewhere at a hotel on a tropical island.
He sat on a chair beneath a parasol with a cocktail in his left hand and his right hand on his stomach as he was looking at the ocean in front of him.
Footsteps got closer to him, leaving him looking to the right as a hotel staff stood next to him with a cellphone in her hand: "Mr. Isaac Jefferson?"
Kai nodded, smiled at her and put down his cocktail.
"A phone call for you."
"Thank you.", they smiled at each other and he held the phone to his ear as the staff left again.
"Isaac Jefferson.", Kai smirked and watched a couple in the water fooling around.
"Drop the act, Kai. We've got business to talk about."
"Alright, alright. Nice to hear from you too, Jay. My dear friend, what do you need?", Kai chuckled.
"You destroyed my car, so you still owe me money."
"Why don't we meet up and chat, hm? This would be so much more pleasa-"
Jay interrupted him: "Not happening. You either send me the money or I swear, I'll hunt you down and get the money out of you myself."
Kai just smirked and looked at a lady walking past the pool and to the beach: "No need to sound so threatening. You'll get your money, my friend."
"I better will or we've got a big problem, friend."
"Have good day, my dear.", Kai hung up and put the phone to the side.
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes to enjoy the sun some more.
