Here's context before we read my crusty fungal infected story. In this AU, everyone is a cat people. Like it's a person but then it's like a cat but the cat and the cat human same thingy. With ears and a tail. But then a person body. Meow. But then they are still demon slayers. Cat hybrid.

Muichiro was waiting for Tanjiro after a long and tiresome day of missions. Muichiro had finished his hard work and was physically and mentally exhausted. And of course very grumpy at the moment. He was sure Tanjiro would make it so much better. So there he was. Waiting for his dear lover to return and rescue him from his loneliness.

There he sat on the couch. Muichiro's fluffy tail swaying back and forth as he stared at the door. Starting to get impatient. He went to go fetch his tribe of stuffed animals. Yes he is a collector. He set them all up around him. Feeling slightly less lonely now.

The boy sighed and groaned. Knowing it would take longer than he expected for his lover to return home. Beginning to feel even more lonely even with his plushies surrounding him. The truth was, Muichiro is deeply attached to Tanjiro. So it got a little hard when Muichiro was without him.

As he was getting ready to give up on waiting, he heard the door creak open. His fluffy little ears twitched and he quickly turned around. A bright smile appearing on his face when he saw his lover in the door way. An excited Muichiro jumped out of his mountain of stuffies. Running to the boy standing in the doorway. Jumping onto him in a tight hug.

"Tanjirooo!"

He exclaimed. Beginning to nuzzled deeper into the hug. Tail swaying side to side with excitement. Tanjiro hugged his lovely boyfriend back. Chuckling slightly at how excited the boy was to see him.

"Muichiro! Ah my love~ How've you been without me around? I've missed you so muchh"

Tanjiro asked with his signature sweet smile on his face. Hugging his happy little boyfriend tight. A bit of blush heating up his cheeks when Muichiro nuzzled into him further.

"I've missed you too my Sunshine. It's been hell without you. These shitty missions are sucking the life outta me. I just need a little break."

Muichiro told him. Sinking further into his arms.

"...Can I please have... umm... cuddles my love??" He mumbled. A warm blush spreading across his face. Tanjiro smiled and chuckled softly. Petting the shy boy's fluffy ears slowly and giving Mui a kiss on the forehead.

Tanjiro replied "Of course love! Hehe let's go right now~" He grabbed the long haired boy by the arm and began to run with him upstairs. They both giggled. Getting into bed with each other. Tanjiro wrapped his arms around his beloved boyfriend. Muichiro went silent. His tail swaying side to side in enjoyment. He blushed even more.

The dark red haired boy felt the other purring against his chest. Enjoying the snuggling.

Muichiro wouldn't admit how much he really liked it though. That would be way too embarrassing for him to do.

He eventually completely relaxed. Tanjiro stroked his silky hair. Putting the boy to sleep slowly.

Soon Tanjiro could hear Muichiro's soft snores. The cute cat boy sleeping against his chest. Tanjiro was purring quiet a bit as well. He slowly blinked before he dozed off as well.

The two lovers peacefully enjoying there moment together. Holding the other in their arms.
