In the world of [Everlasting Power From The Heart], the western part of the planet is divided into five kingdoms; Greleste, Vertrag, Liebe, Ausbreitung, and Senf, with Helfen being the kingdom I call home.

Duke Mex was a close friend of Everly's father, Maximilian, and felt a deep sense of pity and protectiveness towards young Anakin. Moved by the tragedy, he adopted Anakin as his own son and granted him the title of heir to the dukedom.
Despite Anakin's new status as Duke Mex's son, questions remain about what happened to the original dukedom. Although the game reveals that the dukedom's empire was destroyed and fell into ruin 11 years ago, it never fully explains the cause or circumstances of the explosion.
In the middle of the game, once you've unlocked the true route (choosing to protect Reagan from being expelled by Archie), a critical event occurs; the villainess Reagan falls to her death from a balcony during the School of Magic's ball in her second year at the academy. To avoid this tragedy, I need to prevent that event from happening.
Reagan's fall happens right in front of the main characters. Instead of intervening, they merely watch as she dies, standing protectively in front of Everly. Despite Reagan's cruel harassment and bullying of Everly, they do nothing to save her, allowing her to meet a horrific end without any chance of rescue.
'For now, how can I end my engagement to Archie? I don't want to marry a f*ck boy prince...and it seems he doesn't want to marry me either! It looks like we're both on the same page!'
