"You're okay, pretty girl" I said rubbing her back as she cried onto my shoulder. I can tell she wasn't letting it all out. "Shhhh, you're okay, we got you, okay?" I spoke.
She started sobbing on my shoulder again. I felt her tears on my shirt. I rubbed her back trying to get her to calm down. I leaned her off my shoulder and wiped her face her face was really red.
"Come on pretty girl, stop crying for me" I said. I can tell she was trying to force herself to stop but she was doing it way to fast, so they kept falling. "Calm down" I said and blew cold air on her face from my breath. It was to cool her down. once her face isn't hot, she can start to calm down.
"that's it, pretty girl" I said once she was almost calm. I wiped her face as she calmed down fully. She was calm just sitting here staring at my shirt. She looked like she wanted to sleep. "You sleepy" I asked. Her eyes met mine and she nodded.
"Okay, let's go eat then we can go home and sleep" I said. She didn't say anything just sat there. "Gimme hug pretty" I said. She leaned into me, and I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight. "you're okay, come on, let's go eat" I said.
I opened the car door, and she got out and fixed her skirt. I got out after her and fixed her hair back to how it was. She had it a ponytail, so I pushed her fly aways. I got the car keys out my pocket and locked the doors.
"Wait" she said holding out my jacket.
"Want me to put it back" I asked. She sat there and thought about it for a minute, "put it on" I said. I can tell she wanted to keep it but didn't want to say anything. She put it on but didn't zip it up.
I grabbed her hand, and we started walking to the building.
"Nika, I left my purse" she said. she stopped walking but I kept walking basically dragging her,
"Come on, you don't need it" I said.
"but"
"Stop it, come on" I said. She started walking and let go my hand. I looked back since she was behind me, and she had a pout on her face. "Stop playing" I said and grabbed her hand again. I pulled her so she was next to me.
She still had a pout on her face, but I didn't care. We got in the building and went to the front desk.
"Hi welcome to IHOP how can I help you" the man said looking at Miracle a little too long for my liking.
"Umm, someone already here for us" I said.
"Okay you can go on back" he said and looked at the computer after smiling at Miracle. I looked at her and she looked somewhere else.
She wasn't smiling or anything just held a straight face. I pulled her behind me as we went to find bey.
"Mommy!" I heard. I looked to the left and seen Bailey and Bey in the back.
