Chapter 5

"Oh? nakakatayo ka na?" I acted shocked too.

Nakapasok na si Bryan ng kotse, katabi ko nang maamoy ko ang perfume niya. Hindi nawawala ang tingin sa'min ni Lash kaya bumaling ako sa kanya at tinaasan siya ng kilay.

"Kaya pala na cut allowance mo!" She pointed me out.

"Oh?" ang ingay

"Sabi mo na cut allowance mo kasi gabi na umuwi, now may pinaguusapan kayong 'di ko alam?"

"Oo na Lash,"

"Na cut allowance mo? Sabi ko sa'yo sa condo kana matulog e." Mukhang natutuwa pa siya.

"Condo agad!" sigaw ni Lash

"Ang oa love, tayo nga e" sabat ni Sean.

"Oo, kayo nga e!" turo ko sa kanya kahit 'di ko alam ano tinutukoy ni Sean.

"Allowance lang e, madami niyan si Bryle." si Sean.

"Magkano ba allowance mo?" Tanong ni Sean sa'kin.

"20k above per month, but that depends on my academics expenses and other things I do."

"Ako na bahala," the he close his eyes and dozed off to sleep.

"Malayo pa Sean no?" I ask.

"About an hour"

"Okay I'll sleep, you two can kiss while we're asleep."

In a minute I fell asleep. Nagising lang ako nang may lumagabog na pinto ng sasakyan. Nagulat ako don, habang si Bryan nasa labas na at natawa pa. Inabot ko ang bohok niya para sabunutan.

"Aray Rich, Lash oh."

Lumabas na kami, naghahabulan pa rin. Para mabitawan ko siya, kinikiti niya ako kaya napapaupo ako pero di ko pa rin binitawan ang hawak Kong bohok niya. Nabitawan ko lang yun nung 'di ko na kinaya ang kiliti niya.
Tinarayan ko siya at tinalikuran.

The place is majestically beautiful. It's  an open restaurant, there is an overview scenery infront. The mountains and the city lights blend in. The tables are in a hut and it has a yellowish lights making the ambiance more cozy. We arrived here at 6pm so it's slowly getting dark and colder.

"You two, let's go." sigaw ni Lash when they're inside the hut now, taking their seats.

We decided as a group for our dinner since it is serve that's good for many people. We ordered bulalo which is perfect for weather, some seafood dish, kare-kare and some desserts. While waiting for the food we entered a new topic.

"Malapit na sem break, same timeline lang naman ang prestige at harell diba?" Sean ask.

"yes, probably." I answered.

"Sem break na 'di pa ayos research" reklamo ni Lash pagbaba niya ng phone niya.

"Si Yu na lang walang part diba?"

"Yu? as in si Margarette?" Bryan asked.

Nasa may pintuan siya ng kubo nakasandal. Naharap siya sa labas tuwing bubuga siya ng usok ng vape niya. Akala niya siguro it's not our thing. I remember when we bought our first vape, we didn't order online we get it by ourselves nag commute pa kami ni Lash.

"Yes, right pati ako nagugulat e." I said.

"Yu? I saw her last time sa bar. Diba Bryle, you talk to her." Sean said and lean on Lash.

"Huh?" tumingin siya sa akin, nakatingin ako sa kanya hinihintay ang sagot niya. "Yeah, we talk but she's so wasted. Wala pang kasama kahit sino."

"Sinamahan mo?" I ask

"Nope," walang paking sagot niya.

"Bakit? Bobo nito oh."

Natatawa siyang tumingin sa akin. He put his vape down at tumabi na sa akin. His perfume and vape flavor mix in the air around him. Making the ambiance more memorable.

"I ask her okay? She doesn't really want someone beside her. When I tried to help she run to the comport room. I have basic human decency girl." mahabang paliwag niya.

"Before you leave, did you see her?"

"No," he laugh. "I couldn't remember."

"Idol niya si Margaux, he's wasted later on that night." Sean.

"Alam mo ikaw," tinuro ko siya. "you keep wasting alcohol, tinutulog mo rin naman. Asikaso pa!"

"You're just worried, baby girl"

The food is ready so we ate, but ofcourse not peacefully. After the dinner, despite of the argument we are having in the table about some petty things. Bryan and Sean didn't even make us see the bill.

After the dinner, we went to the open field who also has an overlooking view. We also bought some snack and coffee. We open the back of the car and we sit there like we are having a genuine talk under the cold starry skies. But apparently, we are really having it.

Malas ko, I am wearing a sleeveless dress so I am really cold. I am holding my cup of coffee with my two hands when the mother fucker throw his jacket on me. I glared at him and managed to raise my middle finger. I wear his jacket, with his scent again. I hate his scent.

"Pumapalag pa oh," he teased

"Gumugusto pa oh," I fired back because he is fixing the jacket on me.

"Alam niyo, bagay kayo e no." Sean talk infront of us. We had second of silence before facing each other. We tilted our head, and smirk together at the same time.

"Okay lang," I nod

"Type ako niyan e" si Bryan

"Oo nga" si Lash. Dun nabigla si Bryan, he didn't expect that kaya mukha siyang tanga ngayon e.

"Oo nga Bry," at tinignan ko pa siya na parang seryoso ako.

His shock faded and became a playful smile. He fix some of my hair strands and softly trace the side of my eyes. He knows how to play the game. Ako naman ang nawala sa phase ngayon, I am distracted.

"Really, love? Bakit hindi na lang tayo?" Hinawi ko ang kamay niya at umiwas ng tingin.

"Seryoso nga," I laugh so he laugh too.

"Tigilan mo ako Rich, wala ka lang allowance."

"Type pa rin kita kahit may allowance na ako next month."

"We will see."

"Sus, baka trip mo ako."

"Ofcourse, sa ganda mong 'yan."

"Right, who wouldn't?" Biro kong yabang

"Who wouldn't talaga kasi binabakuran ka niyan sa Harell dati." si Sean.

"Huh?"

"Tanginamo," bato ni Bry kay Sean ng unan. Natawa si Lash, at ako? Hindi ko maintindihan.
