𝕬𝖋𝖙𝖊𝖗 clearing out his emotions, Bryshere made his way into his family's home and pushed the door shut, locking it behind him.
"Daddy, I'm hungry." The three year old said to him as she reached his arms up for him.
"Baby, you just had three slices of pizza, you can't still be hungry." Bryshere huffed but headed for the kitchen. "You can have a snack but I ain't making you another full meal to waste."
"Noooo." She whined, "I want ten shicken nuggies."
"Ten?! Absolutely not, Sisi." Bryshere shook his head no and let her down.
She immediately burst into tears and fell to the floor throwing a tantrum— which Bryshere was used to by now. He shook his head and stepped over her, ignoring her dramatics while going into the freezer to get her favorite frozen nuggets out. He dumped the entire bag into the air fryer so it was some already made for later, he started it up and then walked away leaning against the counter.
Hakeem heard the fuss and walked toward the kitchen seeing the three year old crying dramatically on the floor, "What happened?" He mugged his older brother assuming he had hurt her. "The fuck you do?"
Bryshere's eyes shot up to him, "Who the fuck are you talkin' to? You can try that shit again. Must've fuckin' forgot who the hell I am." Bryshere might've not been their parent but they all treated him as such and Hakeem knew better than to talk to him crazy.
"M-my bad, Bry. Why she crying?" Hakeem reworded his question.
"Ain't shit wrong with her spoiled ass she just being greedy, she'll be aight." Bryshere shrugged carelessly. "She about to eat some of these nuggets and lay down. She being extra cause she need a nap."
"I'm not takin' a nap." The fussy girl said from the floor.
"What I say? You wanna be in trouble mamas?" Bryshere looked down at her— he gave her that look that made her tighten up quick.
She immediately got up and ran to Hakeem reaching her arms up to be saved. Hakeem chuckled while picking her up and took her away with him.
Bryshere scoffed and shook his head. He pulled out his phone and called Kiara to give his daily check in with her. They sent her home yesterday so now she was able to have her phone which he'd rather. He didn't care to keep going up to that depressing hospital, it always reminded him of his mother. Despite missing her dearly— he hated thinking about her due to the last few moments of him seeing her alive was in that very hospital fighting for life.
