LUCIAN

"Have a seat, Lucian."

He pulls out a chair from the dining table for me, and I take a seat. There's a glass full of green juice waiting for me along with a sandwich.

"Did you make this?" I ask Arius.

"Yes." He replies nonchalantly. "Eat up, and then we'll talk about the marriage and stuff regarding this."

"Yes, sir." I fake salute and then wince. Why did I do that? For God's sake.

.

After washing my plate, I searched around the place for Arius.

I take the time to appreciate how well his mansion is made. The architecture is awesome. The ceiling of every room is entirely different from the other. It's amazing.

The mansion's  hall is amazing, featuring a stunning chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

As I make my way through, I come across a door different than others. Curiosity gets the best of me, and I open it.
I am left speechless with what's in sight.

It's a massive floor-to-ceiling library filled with rows and rows of antique books. I walk closer inside.

In this large floor-to-ceiling library, the shelves are filled with every type of book. The room is bathed in a soft, warm light that illuminates the intricate details of the leather-bound covers.

The faint scent of old paper lingers in the air, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of this heaven.

White nights by Fyoder Dostoevsky catch my eye, and I take it out from the shelf. The shelves are made of rich, dark wood.

I am pretty sure I am drooling. I am pulled out of my trance by a charming voice.  "Earth to, Lucian."

I blink and turn around only to find Arius staring at me with a look on his face that I can't see through. His eyes are a bit too dark, or maybe I am just over observing.

"Yeah, sorry. I was looking for you and then I came across this place. I didn't mean to barge in without asking for your permission, of course. " I breathe.

It was really not my intention, I just couldn't help myself when I saw this library.  It is literally perfect and dreamy.

"It's alright, you can do whatever you want. Besides, we are gonna get married soon, which means it will be your house and your library too, you know." He says, getting out of the room.

I nod and follow him.

"What is it that you wanted to talk about?" I ask as I pass by the room I had slept in.
