"Shane, you know I'll never purposely hurt you, right?" Jennie desperately wants her friend to realize she's not a bad person unlike what Shane is thinking about her.
"I honestly didn't know who he was. He lied about his na—"
"He's a she." Shane abruptly and sternly corrected.
"What? You're bi? Ho—" Appalled Jennie unintentionally said it aloud with an irked face. She couldn't believe Shane had fallen for a girl!
"Shut it! ." Shane hissed, she got more upset with her.
"I don't want any of your bullshit explanations. I've heard enough. So, can you leave me alone?"
"No you have not!" Jennie is now losing her patience because Shane is unbelievably stubborn!
"Shane. this Lalisa or whoever the fuck she is texted and befriended me 2 weeks ago before you even revealed to us yesterday that you two are sorta M.U.s... We don't even know he's a she until now." Jennie waited for Shane's response but her friened was dead silent. Jennie can only deeply sigh.
"I knew Lalisa's a she." Proud Diana butted in like what she said matters. The rest of the girls looked at her with their so-what-faces.
"There's really nothing to worry about because we were strictly just friends and I'm super straight! Again, to make it clearer to you, I ended our friendship yesterday. We're not talking anymore. Besides, I don't wanna be friends with a jackass!" Jennie exasperatedly repeated herself for the umpteenth time.
"SHE'S NOT A JACKASS!!! SAY IT AGAIN OR I'LL SLAP YOU."
"SHANE!!! WERE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME??"
"GODDAMMIT!!! CAN YOU TWO STOP YELLING AT EACH OTHER!!?" Frustrated Jisoo also yelled, veins almost popping out of her neck.
"This intervention isn't working Soo. Let's give them time and space to figure their shits out. Let them forgive each other at their own pace and willingness." Wise Bianca said, but she has a feeling her friends won't reconcile.
"Bianca's right. We can't force people to patch up especially if one is not wanting to." Diana second the motioned Bianca's sentiment.
There was a brief awkward and heavy silence between the five girls until Jennie decided to break it.
"You're right, Diana. I think I know what the solution to this problem is..."
Jennie looked at Shane with visible heartache in her eyes and everyone saw it.
