Mike Scottsville, at Nintendo of America:
TW: DISMEMBERMENT/DECAPITATION (if you're not okay with that, don't read any further.)
What I saw yesterday I will never forget. I walked into the server room, since that's where I worked at the time. I have since been moved for obvious reasons. What I saw could've permanently scarred anyone. It was the body of Austin Sanders... the person everyone claims is just missing. I know better, but only because I'd seen it myself. I wish I could believe the lies they're spreading.
Anyway, I'll describe what I saw, despite how much it affects me mentally. I saw Austin Sanders' body strapped to a chair, with both his legs and his head cut off. There was still blood flowing out of his body. It had to have just happened, not that long of a time before I entered the server room. The murderer is lucky to have left before I got there. In hindsight, I probably should have investigated the scene, but I didn't have it in me to stick around any longer than I did.
I immediately ran to Todd's office, where he told me to keep quiet and never tell anyone what I saw. He said the cops were coming, and that I couldn't tell them anything. The cops were coming to discuss a missing person. They thought Austin was missing. Missing. Todd saw on the camera, but he claimed to not know anything, which is suspicious since he asked me about Austin as soon as he saw me. He asked me if I'd seen Austin, because he hadn't lately. He didn't even know why I was in his office yet.
He had to have known. He saw the cameras. He probably saw me.
The main suspect, in my mind, was Henry. Other people probably would agree based only on the rumors circulating the office about Henry, but I have a bit of something else against him. I still don't fully believe it was him, though. He may be mysterious, but he's probably just introverted. I didn't want to pin the blame on him, but I did say his name to the police when they interviewed me. I saw him leaving when I was on my way to Todd's office, and he claimed that he felt sick. He didn't specify much more, other than saying he had a headache and nausea. I told him I'd tell Todd he was leaving, and he thanked me. Then, he left.
I never knew much about Austin, but I do know he was related to my friend and coworker Jonathan. He was his brother. I can't even imagine how he'll react to the news, or how he did react. How will he explain this to his young son Kyle, who's only 6? I didn't tell Johnathan myself. I couldn't bring myself to. He'll know soon enough anyway. I would say Todd would tell him, but I really doubt that he would after how Todd talked to me about it.
Austin was a very good intern here during his time. He wasn't even a full employee yet. I feel so bad for him, since he lost so much. He lost everything. Anyone who dies loses everything, but Austin had so much to lose. It's just so terrible that it had to happen to him.
