[*bored by all the excuses* Oh, c'mon~
Why are you making things more complicated than they are, uh?!?
All you're supposed to do is just teaching them your method. Not a big deal for someone like you and me, isn't it?!
I mean, we're the Golden Dream, after all! We've already faced tasks that has been far more difficult to manage than the present one, right?
What are you afraid of?? ಠಿ_ಠ ].
With a turbulent inner conflict loudly going on in my head, we hastily left The Hall, heading straight upstairs while silently praying to be lucky enough to find our room in no time - and possibly, without any other random encounter.
~about 15 minutes later~
[*exasperated* Just tell me WHY!...Why so stubborn??!?]
*walking, stumping feet*
[*trying to be reasonable* Oh, c'mon, you can't be serious...]
*Stops. Keys sound. Snorting. Resumes walking*
[...There are several floors in this building, y'know?...What are your plans, go checking any door available?!?]
*Repeating the same actions, as if not a word has been uttered*
[Are you listening!?...ರ_ರ
Besides, some floors are unusable. And a couple of those are even collapsed!...]*turning, going back to the start of the corridor*
[*Relieved* About time! I'm happy that you eventually accepted your limit-]
*goes upstairs*
[...(ಠ_ಠ)>⌐■-■...you kidding!?!]
*bumping into a half collapsed staircase*
[*Persisting, slightly hypertensive* See?! Told ya!
What are you gonna do, oh mighty hero? Grow wings and fly outside, coming back through the window on the other side? Or maybe, opting for a leap of faith and some free climbing? ಠ ل͟ ಠ ...]*prepares for jumping*
[*cold shivers running down the spine* WHAT THE-]
*jumps; lands on the other side, losing equilibrium and almost falling*
[*Raging in exasperation* WHY DON'T YOU BEHAVE LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE DO?!? ヘ(。□°)ヘ ]
*climbs some rubbles of the fallen ceiling, getting to the other side*
[*lost in silence, defeated*]
*resumes checking all the doors*
.
[*louder* HELLOoOoOoOo!
Are you in there?!? ಠ_ಠ]The sudden request of attention was so unexpected that it could've caught off guard even the most trained sentinel.
While trying to slow down my heartbeat, a strong impulse to beat that voice up with a series of harsh words took over me.
I was opening my mouth, ready to unleash the fury that was burning me up inside, when suddenly a shift happened:
the last stock of inner strength was gone, and everything that came out of my mouth was a weary sigh. The most plausible explanation I could come up with was the-[*interrupting the flow of thoughts* What was that for?
*making assumptions* Did or did I not suggest you to rest?!
But no, you had to keep on searching for that room the whole night. No surprise that you're so unsteady now (⌐■-■)]*another sigh, even wearier*
[*mumbling*...
...
*taking some more time*
...
Y'know what? You're dangerous. ←_←
*taking a deep breath* I told you not to complain; and here I am, complaining. I was feeling good; but due to your state of mind here I am, feeling tired just like you...
*sorting out thoughts*...hmmm...There's a caffetteria over there: let's take a break, okay?]
