2: Tour & Troubles

Shelly started walking around the Ranger Ranch, showing Colt all the important places. Colt didn't really seem to pay attention at first, but when Shelly "offered" to blast a bullet in his face, he smiled awkwardly and payed attention.

"Yes, it's very nice around here. But one small question." Colt suddenly said.
"Ugh.. yes?" Shelly responded.
"Where am I gonna sleep? And eat?"

That's when it hit Shelly. The Ranger Ranch only had one small cabin! Shelly groaned as she said:

"Fuck. Yeah.. about that.. the ranch only has one cabin. I guess we have to... share it now."

Colt looked confused at first, then replied:
"Oh. Okay."

As they ended the tour, Shelly showed Colt the cabin.
She opened the cabin door, and entered in. Colt quickly followed.
Shelly lit up the fireplace and started to heat up some water for tea. Colt just stood beside the table, not knowing what to do.

"Please, take a seat, Colt. I'll make us some tea."
Colt looked at shelly with a nervous smile, Shelly quickly noticed it and said:
"What? You do drink tea, right?.."
"About that..." Colt replied.

Shelly let out an annoyed sigh. Colt quickly noticed that Shelly was annoyed, and sputtered:
"N-no, it's okay! I'll drink it this one time, I-i don't want to make a bad first example."
"Huh. Okay."

Suddenly, as Shelly was about to pour the hot water into a cup, she heard a loud bang.
BOOM!
Colt heard it too. "What was that?!"
"I don't know. But we gotta check it out."
Shelly grabbed her shotgun and ran out the door.
"Wait for me!" Colt quickly followed.

Shelly ran to the jail cells. What she saw was Belle and Pearl rescuing Sam out of his cell.
Belle quickly noticed Shelly, grunted and said:
"Sam, you REALLY gotta stop with your shenanigans. Now we gotta fight Shelly again!"
But then, Belle saw Colt. She let out a little laugh and said:
"Ha! Who's this, your little BOYFRIEND?"
Shelly growled and said: "He isn't my boyfriend, Belle. He's a new sheriff. And he's about to lock you up!"
Colt looked worried and said: "H-huh? Who, me?"
"Yes, you! Now come on, let's-"
Suddenly, a eletric spark flew out of Belle's gun directly towards Shelly. She dodged it, took out her shotgun, took aim and fired.

A huge fight was going on. Bullets and cookies were everywhere! The fight was long and intense. Both sides were pretty tired, suddenly Belle said:
"Alright, i've had enough of your games. Pearl, burn them!"
Next thing Shelly and Colt knew, was that dozens of burning cookies were directly flying at them! Shelly did a mega blast to destroy most of them.
She looked at Belle, Sam and Pearl running off in the distance. Suddenly, she heard something.

"OW!"
She quickly turned over and saw Colt covered in burn marks. Colt groaned loudly and said: "Ow.. it hurts, Shelly. A lot.."
Shelly gasped and put her shotgun away. Then, she ran to Colt to inspect the burn marks.

They were pretty severe. Shelly was quite worried. Suddenly, she remembered that she had a first aid kit in her cabin. She decided that it was best to heal Colt inside the cabin, so she lifted Colt up and  put him over her shoulder.
"Ow! Ow ow ow!"
Colt was clearly in a lot of pain.
"I'm sorry, Colt. But we gotta get you to the cabin to heal you and this is the best way for me to carry you."

When Shelly arrived at her cabin, she carefully placed Colt on her bed and grabbed the first aid kit. She found some cooling gel and bandages, and did the best she could to help Colt.
"There. Hopefully these burn marks heal soon."
She looked at Colt to find him staring sweetly at her face.
"Uh.. are you okay? Aside from the burn marks, of course."
"You.. helped me. But.. i thought you hated me before. Why are you helping me now?"
Shelly chuckled sweetly and replied:
"That's a lot of stupid questions coming out of a stupid person. Get some rest, 'kay? I'll make some soup."
She turned over, but she could still sense that Colt was staring at him. But.. for some reason.. she didn't really mind it anymore.
