"Lunch time, 235-EM!"

The sound of the metal tray being thrown inside the room, the food splattering on the floor like it was nothing as I stayed on my bed in the corner of the shadows, sneakily glaring daggers at the damn Good-for-Nothing 'Bastards'.

"Tch" The bastard scoffed, "You're even more pathetic and annoying as a teen."

The bastard walked out of the hallway after that. I looked down, clenching the dirty and rough bed sheets and gritting my teeth. I stared at the metal wall, the markings of all the days I've been in this hellhole felt like a millennium. I hate it here...I was foolish enough to get conned....

Flashback (3rd Person)

"Get back here you brat!" A seller from across a crowded street like any other yelled with fury from his tone, chasing a young girl from the age of 6 down the streets.

The young girl laughed in mischievousness, carrying a bag of stolen goods and running past the streets. "Excuse me! Sorry, coming through!" She exclaimed to every person she passed by whom she's left startled.

The seller was still hot on the young one's tail. Unfortunately for his luck, he stopped when the young girl went into a narrow alleyway and suddenly disappeared out of nowhere. The seller threw his hat to the ground in anger, yelling loud enough for almost the whole town to hear.

"Damn you little rascal!"

With the young girl (Still in the Flashback)

"Got him good." The young girl said to herself with pride and laughed quietly. She slowly climbed down the ladder, landing into the dark but slightly wet sewers. She moved forward, the sound of her shoes stepping on the wet puddles could be heard from even but possibly a mile away.

She hopped in a few distances from the tunnels and went through twists and turns in the sewers. That is until she stopped and looked at what she was seeing with a smile and said, "Home sweet home."

She once again began moving forward to the very place she claimed to herself as a 'Sweet paradise.'

A city, something unordinary compared to any other town witnessed. Something a little darker and...sinister. Yet to this young child whose name is yet to be known was quite fond of where she lived.

"Hey Alfie!" The young girl exclaimed when entering a certain part of town, "Look what I got! That grumpy seller couldn't even-...."

The young one stopped herself from saying anything else as she stared at the man whom she called 'Alfie' in confusion. "Alfie?"

Alfie stared at the young one with a hint of sadness, regret, and fear in his eyes. He looked down in shame as another man in a white coat approached to the young one. "I'll take her." The man said with a sinister smile.

Two guards approached to the young one from behind and grabbed her tightly by her arms. The little one let out a startled noise, dropping the bag of stollen goods and struggling from the guards grasps as she stared at Alfie. "Alfie!? Who are they!?"

Alfie looked away, not daring to look back into the young one's eyes.

"I'm sorry, kid. You were my favorite..."

End of Flashback (Back to ???)

"If I was your favorite you would've came for me." I muttered under my breath. I punched the metal wall out of anger, my wings stiffened up as blood poured down my knuckles. I sat on the floor again, my fists clenched as I tried holding back my tears.

Let's start short, I'm Taeki. Taeki Harp. This hellhole has been my new home for 10 fucking years.
