"Mommy stop" Vaeh laugh
That sweet innocent laugh. That's what I look forward to at the end of the day. Nevaeh came from a messed up situation. I mean really messed up. I had to pray myself out of that dark hole but it's worth it. All the therapy and my father banning dark green suits at the church was worth it.
He lost board members, donations, members, and even got some negative feedback online but he didn't care. Green suits triggered me and he made sure with all his power that anything with his name on it was gone make sure I'm safe
Until Ray did the unthinkable
"Ray is on her way with sweet face" I do be needing a break but just to take a shower and get a few hours of sleep, after that I want my baby.
"Okay well I love you Ladybug, call me if you need anything" he kissed my forehead "I love you"
"I love you too" and he left out. I finished cleaning bottles and just straighten up to keep busy.
Ray walked in wearing a dark green suit holding Vaeh and she was in a matching one. My chest started tightening fast. I definitely think this is a heart attack
"No more skipping them fuck ass church events. This ain't shit but a suit baby. Don't let this fuck ass ugly ass suit distract from what a sick ass bitch did" Ray say
"R-Rray" I can't breathe "please"
"It's just me and Vaeh. We would never hurt you baby. It's just a suit"
Although I think she pushed too hard it worked. It worked like hell. I cried into that suit and she just showed me Mack isn't a green suit, he isn't a Mercedes, he isn't a church parking lot, and he isn't all men. His mistake was on him as a man.
Ray thinks I'm trying to replace her. I could never. She's been there for me when she didn't have to. She's raising a child she could have been gave up on.
I love her so much it hurts.
"Okay sweet face, whatever you want" I smile pecking her forehead
"Did my mama call me" Vaeh ask
"No?" Her ipad is probably dead or broken. I've bought two iPads this year. Ray bought an iphone and two iPads herself.
She raised her eyebrow and looked around "it's morning. She calls me"
"Go get my phone off my bed and we can call her" she took off running and I stood up to wash my hands. I'll cut us some fruit up. All my child wants to eat is spaghetti, chicken nuggets, cereal, pancakes, eggs, fries, and fruit. Her palate is something I'm working on but it's hard. I thought potty training was hard but getting her to eat more than what's she's comfortable with is the actual job. Even with her eggs she wants them boiled and cut up, not scrambled. The meatballs in her spaghetti have to be cut up as well. It's a working project for sure
"Mama you no call me!" Vaeh is the only person I know who can just put Ray in line with no rebuttal
"I did call you" Ray say
"When? I was sleep" Vaeh ask
"Your ipad was dead or something" Ray say "because I did call"
Vaeh looked stressed out. I'm not too sure who her favorite parent is but I can say she's clingy. If she could lock us both beside us she will. "you didn't call my mommy!"
"You right. I should've called her. That's on me, what are you doing, Princess"
"Talking to you" Vaeh say "my mommy making me fruit" who said this was for her? "what are you doing? You playing basketball"
