Gregory's POV:

There's no telling how long I've been asleep.

The dream I had was weird. I was in a void.

A black, empty and quiet void.

I looked around, slowly getting up.

A single wooden door stood ahead of me.

There seemed to be ink on the floor, or some black liquid because as I kept walking towards the door, the bottom of my shoes were covered in black.

I pressed my hand to the mysterious door, then suddenly blooding running down the door.

I pulled my hand back as quickly as possible. I turned around. A girl being in front of me.

Who..

What....

I finally got my answer..

Cassie.

The girl who I've always had as a friend. The girl I trust. The girl I comforted that faithful day.

If I would've looked down, I would've known that my legs starting at my feet were being consumed by the inky puddles below me, it slowly climbing up me.

I missed her. She seemed like a doll, emotionless. I tried to step forward, but the ink held me in place.

It slowly crawled up me, I tried to scream, I tried so hard, but it felt like no matter how hard a tried no sound came out. I reached for Cassie, but she faded.

Why... why won't she help me?

Anger flowed through the tears slowly falling from my narrowed eyes.

Before the ink reached my head.

What am I doing? Why can't I move?!

No... This isn't fair..

Thankfully, my eyes had opened, looking around. I saw a boy, sitting next to me, who looked like he'd just ran a marathon due to how much he was blushing.

I blinked at him.

" who are you. "

He quickly recomposed himself.

" Evan. "

That name seemed familiar.. weirdly suspicious.

" I'm Gregory. "
