Can't i catch a break

Erens pov
  We thought we had finally got him to agree to come with us when he grabbed his head and started to sway suddenly. He just fell head first to the ground which caused  me and Ren to shout in shock. It seems when we’re worried we move faster as we reach him at the same time to catch him before he barely moves forward. I held his head up while Ren tapped at his face trying to get him to come too.

‘Shit Eren he's out he's starting to overheat we have to get him to the pack or coven house which is closer Ren said as he then asked about which was closer to the school

“Why the hell would I know you're at the coven house more than me is it closer to the pack house. It's a twenty minute drive and ten minute run at our fastest speed, maybe even five. I started snapping at him then gave an actual answer afterwards realizing it's not his fault our mate passed out.

‘okay, it's going to be okay you are first born get the pack house ready the coven is to far away it's three in the afternoon mom should be at the pack house to check on the pups by now she'll know what to do we just have to get him out of here without looking like creeps kidnapping a teenager. Ren calmed me down
. This people is why he is my twin why he is water to my fire and wind to my earth he balances me out it's what we do for each other but right now we have a mate to take care of.

‘ your right sorry wait were fucking dumbasses we can evacuate the school” I proposed

“ pray tell how do we do that” Ren said like I was and idiot

‘ tell All the students that hangi's experiment is about to blow up and we have one minute to get out I finally get out now that I think about it, it's a pretty good idea.

It took Ren seconds to rip out his phone and hit send to all the students in it “Done we just have to wait be ready to run who's holding him” Ren asked me again this time I actually had an answer

‘ I'll hold him I know where the pack house is better what to avoid going at that speed you keep behind to make sure no one follows that shouldn't and by no one I mean Armin though I have a feeling he saw this coming” I said and wondered if that was true.

“ you know he can't see that far ahead but let's go the school should be empty now he shot me down and with that I checked our mates temperature he was burning up lifted him into my arms as Ren pushed the door open we speed through the halls only stopping at corners to see if anyone was still there when the coast was clear we headed towards the tree line at the back of the school and took off like a bullet.

  I curled our mate into my chest shielding him from branches all the while feeling his fast breath on my collar bone. ‘ Come on, Ren sped up he…he's breathing too fast I said to my twin picking up the pace we were so fast all you could see was the leaves float back down after disturbed by our fast movement. 

I sighed in relief when we broke the tree line and the pack house came in view I felt a pulse of power shoot through me burning me causing me to drop him I was in shock I couldn't move because of pain I could only watch as our mate fell just to take a deep breathe as rens water curled around our mate and around me soothing the burn.

" Ren I can't believe I dropped him I… I can't be burned. It felt like a lighting strike struck me in my blood and made it boil. What hell  just happened”? I whispered ashamed of myself, how can I call myself a good mate or a powerful hybrid just to drop my mate at the feel of the pain of something that happened even if it was out of nowhere.

“ Eren he's fine I caught him are you okay” I nodded good let's get him inside it's storming out here looks like a hurricane is coming I just notice as he said it we ran in the pack house as I bust open the door shocking our pack mates
