It all began during Swellviews annual blood draw, something every citizen of the city took pride in doing their part. This year was like any other. The city hospital had in the prior days, set up an extended area for the citizens to come in a donate blood, as long as they had the right criteria, that mainly just being healthy.

It was pretty early in the morning when Henry had left home to go to Junk N' Stuff. As he arrived he met Schwoz leaning over the counter, filling in paperwork.

"Morning Schwoz," Henry muttered, walking past the short man. Seeming very occupied with his paperwork, Henry never got an answer, so he just continued down to the Man Cave. Walking casually through the small junk-filled store, the boy soon arrived to the backroom, where the elevator was.

Carefully looking over his shoulder, Henry double-checked he hadn't been followed by some random person, before heading down to the cave.

A whoosh later, he'd arrived down at the cave and was immediately met by Ray, also known as Captain Man, his boss in two ways. That's because Henry had accidentally found the Man Cave and later Captain Man, then one thing led to another and now the boy both worked as Swellviews number one hero's sidekick and when he wasn't doing that, Ray had him work up in Junk n' Stuff.

On occasion, Jasper and Charlotte helped out too, but they were more interested in being down in the Man Cave where things actually happened.

"Hey, Henry!" Ray greeted, acknowledging the boy who had just arrived. Henry greeted back and went to sit down on the sofa. He gave a quick glance at the monitors, wondering if it would alert any villains soon. Henry felt ready to kick some villain butt right about now.

"So Ray, do you think anyone will attack today?" Henry asked, still glancing cautiously at the monitor, wanting it to beep. Ray sighed and walked over to him, before taking a seat next to him on the sofa.

"Today we have other plans. As my sidekick, you have to same obligations I do, so there is no arguing with me about this." Ray spoke. Confused, Henry barely had a chance to question what was going on before Schwoz had come down the tube elevator and was waving papers in his face.

"What's this?" Henry asked. Grabbing the paper, he started to read the first few sentences.

"I need you to fill this in please," Schwoz ordered, handing the boy a pen. Henry took it and stared down at the paper. Glancing up, he noticed both Ray and Schwoz were giving him a questioning look. They had both seen the doubt in the boy's face after reading the paper's title...

"It would seem you do not want to do this, but like I said earlier Henry...You have an obligation to lead with a good example to others as my sidekick. It's important we show up since we're the city's heroes and we do our part as citizens." Ray explained, nodding for the boy to start filling in the paperwork.

Despite Henry not feeling super happy in being coerced to fill the paper in, he did it anyway and gave it to Schwoz once finished.

"Any chance Jasper and Charlotte are going to participate too?" Ray asked. Henry nodded, overhearing the two were going to go later that evening since both of them had plans in the morning. "Great, then change into your uniform and we can go!" Henry sighed, and pulled out a gumball from his pocket, blowing a bubble to change into Kid Danger.

Once done, the three stepped into the tube elevator.

"Up the tube," Ray said. A second later the doors closed and the elevator headed back up to Junk N' Stuff. Before heading out, Schwoz locked the store and they started walking to the city hospital.
