Tree Climbing 101

Once they finally arrived at Tazuna's house, Naruto laid Kakashi down in a spare bed for him to rest.

"That should do it," Naruto said as he looked down at the sleeping jonin.

"Come on, dobe. We should probably start training while Kakashi is asleep," Sasuke explained. Naruto was quite tired, but would never pass up an opportunity to train. He nodded and followed the raven friend outside. Sakura stayed inside to help Tsunami (Tazuna's daughter) with the cooking. Naruto was throwing shuriken at a pine tree while Sasuke threw kunai at an oak tree.

"NARUTO! SASUKE! COME EAT!" Sakura yelled from inside the tiny home.

"COMING!" Naruto yelled back as he walked inside the house. They sat down and enjoyed a quiet meal, though it wasn't the same for team seven without the silver haired pervert.

After dinner, the remainder of team seven walked up stairs to Kakashi's room where he was slowly healing. When they entered the room, they noticed Kakashi was... awake? He wasn't saying anything but rather staring up at the white ceiling. Well... the three guessed the color was white because the lights were currently turned off in the room.

"Sensei?" Naruto asked as he knelt down over his sensei.

"I'm awake," Kakashi mumbled.

"Oh, well that's a relief," Sakura commented with a sigh.

"Hn," Sasuke agreed is his Uchiha language that only one blond haired male could understand.

"Sensei, there is only two other spare rooms. Where should we all sleep?" Sakura asked. Kakashi grinned to himself as he turned his head over, still laying on his back.

"Sasuke and Naruto, share a room and Sakura sleeps in her own," Kakashi instructed. Naruto and Sasuke blushed at this but didn't protest.

"Now leave. I'm exhausted," Kakashi explained as he turned around to the opposite side of his genin. Kakashi thought about the was the hunter nin that killed Zabuza.

'Wait a second... those weren't any ordinary needles... those were senbon needles. They don't kill but rather temporarily stop a person's heart... hm. I'll think more about this tomorrow when I'm fully healed,' Kakashi thought as he closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep in the pitch black room. Sakura sighed and walked out of the dark room with the other two behind her.

"It's getting late; we might as well head to bed," Sakura suggested as she yawned. Naruto stretched and nodded.

"Yeah! I'll need all of my energy for tomorrow so I can train twice as hard!" Naruto exclaimed as he ran out of the hallway and to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Sasuke sighed and walked away with his hands tucked deep into his pockets.

"Night Sasuke. Don't try anything while the idiot is asleep," Sakura said as she waved innocently at him. Sasuke turned around with wide eyes once he realized what she meant and blushed. 'Stupid Sakura doesn't know what the hell she is talking about,' Sasuke thought and pouted.

Sasuke brushed his teeth and changed into sleep clothes that looked just like Naruto's, but his were blue and white rather than orange and blue. Their sleeping clothes were just a shirt and shorts. It was quite simple.

Naruto yawned and jumped onto the pile of pillows that were neatly organized on the bed.

"Hey, who said you got the bed?" Sasuke asked with an eye roll at the blonde's childish behavior.

"You can just have the other side. That way we're both happy," Naruto explained with a deep blush. Sasuke smirked at this as he climbed onto the other side of the bed and got under the blankets. Naruto did the same and laid down on his side, facing the raven.
