Prologue: New Life

*Mary's POV*
It was like any other day except something rare happened, okay so you know those over protective parents? You know they never let you out of the house or go anywhere. Well that's my mom she hates when we leave the house like if we step foot outside we'd die.

"Okay Girls this concludes today's class. oh and Mary, your mother wants to take you and Sophie to the park today. So go get ready and Mary your mother wants you to put on the cloths she laid out no exception"our teacher ms.Alison said
If you hadn't guessed by now you know I have a little sister named Sophie she's nine and if I'm not being to proud she is just like me a genius. We share teachers well more like professors from colleges. Now I know what your thinking professors ? Well you see not only is our mom mayor but our family were the founders of this town and we're the riches family in this town and because of that we are home schooled. Mom is always so protective. I'm only okay with it because I get to spend time with my sister Sophie were super close.

"Mommy"Sophie yelled
Sophie got up and ran to a person behind me .I look up to see my mother standing their holding my little sister in her arms and I just smile

"Hey I just wanted-"my mother started out but I finished her sentence

"To take US to the park"I finished for her

"Aww you told them I wanted tell them"My mother wined

I swear she can be a kid some times but I love her. We have a really great relationship

"Anyway go and get ready quickly and I will go change to oh and Janice " my mother quickly said

"Yes ma'am"janice replied

Janice quickly appeared by my mothers side .

"Ah there you are. can you tell the helicopter to prepare to take off soon? "My mother asked smiling

God I love her. my moms name is Ashley Lane , she is 36 years old and is a single parent. My Father we don't really ask about. My mom tries to hide it but we can see her tense up when we ask about our dad. All we know is his name Aro Volturi but still we don't ever mention his name even Sophie knows better.

"Hello earth to Mary"my little sister said snapping her fingers in my face

"Yeah what's up"I said

"Did you here mom she said for us to go get ready she put my cloths in your room she said you have to help me get ready "my sister said

"Fine hey soph do you want a piggy back ride"I asked with a big smile

"Yes"she screamed jumping on my back

I picked her up running to my room

My little sister is 9 years old her name is Sophie Rivera but I sometimes call her soph I would do anything for my little sister she means the world to me

We got to the room to see matching dresses we quickly change into them I was putting lip gloss on soph because she begged me to when we heard a loud crash and more loud crashes after the other I ran to my closet with Sophie in my hands I open the door and pushed the wall until a secret door opened I pushed Sophie in it

"Sophie what ever happens what ever you hear don't come out of this until I come and get you do you understand"I asked her

She curled up holding her legs nodding her head up and down very quickly I shut the door and run to mothers room opening the door I walk in more looking for her making a stop at the bath room door pushed it open to see a puddle of blood around my moms head I run to her holding her neck trying to stop the bleeding when my mother starts speaking

"My baby I'm sorry I have to leave you take care of your sister for me tell her I love her with all my heart I love you both now r-u-n" was the last words she spoke before she died

I stayed their for a minute crying

I remembered Sophie I got up and ran into my moms room when all of a sudden the room went black .......
